My grandfather saw one of these camps. He had tears in his eyes when he told me what he witnessed, 50 years afterwards. He asked me to study and learn so that it wouldn’t be repeated.
My grandmother (she's gone now and was sick as long as I can remember) knew, and I think my great grandmother was friends with holocaust survivors. My family was Jewish and from Germany, so there have been stories like this passed on. It's genuinely heartbreaking to listen to, but it's necessary.
My father visited what remained of Belsen when he did National Service with the RAF in the late 50s/early 60s. It was largely a lot of grassy mounds and memorials with endless lists of names on them, with only the sound of the wind or breeze disturbing the eerie silence, but he was moved deeply by the experience.
Thank You, may this horrible part of history never be forgotten. These stories should be shown in every school in the world so people never forget and hopefully it will never happen again.
It’s International Holocaust Remembrance Day 2025, I just want to say to the Holocaust survivors, thank you incredibly for sharing these horrific stories and memories and I’m so so sorry that you’ve been through such atrocious and tragic events and experiences… For this year, It will hopefully be a better future and its insane that it’s been 80 years; 8 decades since then… now I wish you all to stay safe and well. Thanks for sharing these.
Thank you for sharing your stories. 😢 I'm young and haven't experienced it but will remember and remind people about what happened after you are no longer able to. My family in Poland suffered a great deal. They are all gone now but we remember them and tell their stories. Lest we forget ❤
It IS happening, just on smaller scale, spread out over the world. It never stopped worldwide. There now exist forced labor camps in several parts of the world. I suppose they are called "Re-education Camps," or something like that.
What other books tell the blunt truth of what happened? I have read The Novel Poland by James A Mitcheber, but someone said there are at least two more very important books to read. And he has studied this neo agenda for at least 4-5 decades! So, maybe books explaining this also. I remember being at school. I was quite young. A boy almost twice my since but not quite, I didn’t know him. But, as he walked by me, he mumbled these words to I guess me it seemed, ‘stay away from the new world order. I didn’t understand and forgot and never told my mom or anyone. She died young in 1996, so before we went to war but she was hearing about sedam Husain on the news staring people. I’m starting to wonder if any that was even true or if it had to do with them stating he was getting away from American dollar? We must know the truth, like it or not! We must not allow this to ever happen again!!!
So amazing they survived. In their 90’s they are very articulate. I am so so sorry they went through this horrible time. I thank everyday that my grandparents left Europe just before the War started. They had a very hard time in North America upon arrival, but any of that pales in comparison to the horror to what happened to these individuals.

I’ve seen so many comments from kids and grandkids of the soldiers who liberated the camps and they all say it totally effed up those young soldiers for life and has caused generational trauma. A lot even became alcoholic from it. That part of history has caused so much heartache that is felt to this day by both survivors and liberators families
There is never justice after such barbaric abuse and antisemitism. The only decent ethical position is to help them bear witness unto the future so that a moral compass, no matter how vulnerable, can exist. We thank the survivors for showing how to live.
Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. As a child born in 1960, I knew something had happened but didn’t always understand what it was about. As a goy, I was taught always to respect other people, especially Jews. We honour them today. 🙏🏻
I was born 4 years later and as a pre-teen and teen in the later half of the 70s and early 80s was horrified by the footage, pictures and recounting of what happened. I understood well enough, but I did a far deeper dig into the nuts and bolts of how the whole monstrosity operated a couple of decades ago. Thank you for sharing this and at a time when people need to listen and care, thinking about what is going on in this country. It can be hard to get people to see parallels, and also continuities across the ocean, and I feel like we are constantly fighting against this happening now, and I wonder how to help people understand these things go on while they are going about their day to day. I am thankful there are survivors, and the history has to continue to be told, and, again, parallels drawn, reminding anyone that believes anyone is better than anyone else that everyone matters.

@@fionamcwilliam8703 It is overwhelming. There is a really good book I have been trying to get people to read, after reading it in 2018, "The End of the Certain World" (Nancy Greenspan is the author, and I don't remember the publication data). It is a biography of the physicist Max Born, and there is physics in it, but the history in it is so important! Not only to understand more about what was going on at that time, but also thinking about big government and government programs, some that might have started out at least somewhat beneficial. From reading her book, my impression is that some of that got hijacked into what became the Holocaust. That is one of the most important books I have ever read, but I couldn't seem to get people to read it. Then, the movie "Oppenheimer" came out, but I am not sure that is good enough proxy for reading the history in the book (I understand for some movies, people actually read books and study, in preparation and/or as a movie was being made, and I think I tried to find a book list for that, I think I found a book list and it wasn't on it). Things can get so out of control, I think about wedges driven between friends due to political goings-on, and then community is lost, and anything can happen. I earned a MEd in 2017 to protect children and families, teaching ESL. Student teaching was in Oak Ridge. During that time, my husband abandoned me, and I had to move from Tennessee to Georgia and it was like moving countries. I had no way to continue doing what I was doing there, including some of us working to help keep children out of the foster system when their parents were arrested. There was the horrible ICE raid in Bean Station ("Morristown") in April 2018, while I was still in Tennessee (moved to GA in late Nov 2018) and when the 'flu bug' hit in 2020 I felt like I was losing my mind, I felt like I was seeing adults I had worked with, teaching ESL, dying in prison. It is so important for people wanting to prevent harm to fight the feelings of helplessness and at least pray. That is much of what I do, these days, with rage in the background, trying to think ahead about what is next. The world is in utter meltdown.
Yes, I totally agree. As awful as this sounds, I can't help but wonder if Trump has considered setting up death camps in the U.S., since his "deportation" efforts of illegal immigrants are failing, as Columbia and Mexico are refusing to accept his deportees (?). 🥺
Unfortunately, my first reply was deleted by someone who didn't want to think that maybe DJT would consider "death camps" for his failing deportation efforts (?).
It's troubling to me that someone, CAN not...or WILL not...look at the possibility of Trump/Musk death camps, when Musk is proudly giving the Nazi salute at a recent gathering (?).

Becoming a parent has made me realize the future generations will never get to meet a holocaust survivor or a world war 2 vet and our kids are going to be asking us to explain that part of history to them. It’s crazy to think growing up it was normal to meet holocaust survivors and ww2 vets and pretty soon there won’t be any left to tell the story 😿
Genocidal acts on people all over the world- in whatever form it takes, at whatever time in human history it occurred- should never be forgotten, and, should not be allowed to continue today as we are witnessing first hand. The testimonies of these brave survivors must be a beacon to us all - so that we do not forget all genocides of the past, and not look away at those being committed today.
I'm seeing a lot of Gaza comments. Murder of a people is wrong no matter who or where. Don't split hairs. I'm almost positive that if these three people were alive that they would denounce Gaza because they have suffered the same. Not all Jews believe that killing innocents in Gaza is good. Please don't promote hate. Have a clean and loving heart. Hate is how it starts.
Pure evil. The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked: who can know it? Jeremiah 17:9 This is why we should never follow our hearts but to seek God and His Word.
These videos should be saved and shown for centuries to come, so that people should know the barbaric acts done by humans to another human and learn to love and not to hate based on caste, creed and religion.
To forget the past presents the danger of repetition, may we always be vigilant, conscious, and enlightened for a consistenly higher standard of tolerance for all .
The death camps, that formed the "Final Solution",were operational - but not all at the same time as different ones were closed and opened - from about 1941/42 until the late end of 1944. Auschwitz-Birkenau was actually three adjacent camps,of which this one was by far the largest and responsible for killing over 1million people. It is located in southern Poland, about 60 miles (or is it kilometres?) west of the city of Krakow. The video says that these people were deported onto the trains from occupied Hungary in the middle of 1944. In the face of the advancing Red Army it was abandoned by the Nazis in January 1945 days before its liberation. Many prisoners were forced onto "death marches" on foot westwards with them, leaving only the old, sick and dying behind.
@@semsemeini7905thanks for that. I think it’s important to watch the full story of the people as we can acknowledge their families as well. As often the survivors are the last people that will ever remember them.

Makes us wonder why Bush Cheney Rumsfeld Clinton Blair were never charged with war crimes against the people of Iraq.
Survival and happiness are the best revenge against what happened!!! 💚 O+
An humanity never learned
I'm seeing a lot of Gaza comments. Murder of a people is wrong no matter who or where. Don't split hairs. I'm almost positive that if these three people were alive that they would denounce Gaza because they have suffered the same. Not all Jews believe that killing innocents in Gaza is good. Please don't promote hate. Have a clean and loving heart. Hate is how it starts.
Viewing from Zimbabwe. So sorry. I/We need to hear/view/remember these testament stories. It could be us.
Never forget.
anything about Unit 731 survivors?
Thank you for bearing witness.
God bless you 🙏 Thank-you for sharing your stories and your beloved families with us ❤
Pure evil. The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked: who can know it? Jeremiah 17:9
This is why we should never follow our hearts but to seek God and His Word.
Plenty of evil has been justified by religion over the ages.
#NeverForget
#NeverAgain
These videos should be saved and shown for centuries to come, so that people should know the barbaric acts done by humans to another human and learn to love and not to hate based on caste, creed and religion.
😢 Yahweh please keep them all safe I pray they all find peace.
Gave me goosebumps
To forget the past presents the danger of repetition, may we always be vigilant, conscious, and enlightened for a consistenly higher standard of tolerance for all .
When did this happen?
In Hollywood films
@@Winterwolf-fs3wh Happened for real.
@@Winterwolf-fs3wh Have some respect and don't be one of those misinfo merchants.
As a muslim i really feel bad for them
Are these full interviews with these survivors?
If you want to watch full interviews of survivors, you can through the US Holocaust Memorial Museum or the Shoah Foundation.
I saw a full interview of the lady on the left. There is actually a picture of her arriving at Auschwitz. They show it in the short tape here.
@@semsemeini7905thanks for that. I think it’s important to watch the full story of the people as we can acknowledge their families as well. As often the survivors are the last people that will ever remember them.
💜
Please don’t forget the 1.5 million gypsy Roma and Slavs who were also killed during the Holocaust.
They were people too…
Honour you all for your heroic survival and for sharing this. Great evil will be expunged in the light of Yeshua, the only hope we have. I am so sorry for your loss and pray for shalom for you all.
