Pay attention Young Bucks... THIS is HOW IT'S DONE.... I also appreciate the fact that at every Reenlistment I requested my Oath to be memorized and done in the same manner.... BZ Master Chief... This is how you show Sailors REAL Leadership. Thank You!!! (BMC/Ret)
Reciting Olde Glory for a colleague's retirement was an unexpected honor when I was asked to do so, and I spent days just getting the timing right while still expressing its significance. However, I couldn't do it all from memory like CMDCM Eliis. This is impressive.
So impressive! And very much needed in these horrible times... I love the way the flag was passed from one enlisted rank to the next higher rank. Now, this speech and ceremony is pure wonderful American. We need to remember this and stand firm against the looters, rioters, socialists, and general bad guys... God Bless America!!!!
Absolutely amazing! I love to watch it. It is a great testament to the actions of so many great heroes and to all our grand flag stands for. God Bless them all!
"OLDE GLORY PRESENTATION" (* since Gulf War, 1990s): The flag presentation ceremony performed at retirements. One of the ***BEST*** recitations of Old Glory I've ever heard. Anybody know how to get in touch with this Master Chief? Is he still doing retirement ceremonies? I would be interested in hiring him for my ceremony next year in Va.
They are handing the flag off with the point towards the receiver. I thought you after the salute you turn the flag before the hand off so you dont "stab" the person? Genuinely asking.
Yea, Mack kills it every time. We're doing a retirement tomorrow together for the first time. He's doing Olde Glory and I'm doing The Watch

Shawn Shepherd he did my fathers retirement yesterday
Mr Ellis did this for a friend’s retirement yesterday. Not a dry eye in the whole place. He hasn’t aged a second
Fallen heroes lay beneath the waves entombed in iron coffins next to their flag, God Bless Ole Glory!
AMERICA! WHAT A COUNTRY! 🇺🇲🇺🇸
Absolutely wonderful!
Powerful!
Lord bless my Fallen Brothers but too many warriors have been taken in the name of freedom
Fantastic job
Beautiful Reverence For Our Flag

I have to read this tomorrow for a ceremony, that was a great example but a hard act to follow.
marcus spencer dude that’s EXACTLY how I feel right now. I have to do it Friday lol
Great job!!!
Makes me proud to serve
I witnessed this yesterday
Time 1:05..."Look up!" Smooth!
Can we get him to come and do this for a ceremony?? How do I get in touch with him??
Awesome just awesome
don’t you rotate the flag before passing it off? I thought you never “stab” someone with the Ensign
This should be shown to everyone that thinks it is just a piece of cloth.
SO Powerful
Touching
What is the name of the background music?
♥️♥️♥️♥️

That’s exactly what I was thinking they totally botched that
It's the Navy what do you expect? But beautiful reading of Ol Glory best I have heard
Thank you Chaplain Michael Plona
I cant imagine memorizing that, the salutes were a little sloppy. But it looked good.
Does God hear you?
This is ritual they move in a manner

What is the song?
I believe the song is "Eternal Father"
... it’s America the Beautiful.
Just a pawn in some man's game
