Oooohhhh the baby squeaks! 😍 He looks just like your bigger babies! I really wish I would have known about those pumps back in the day (not sure if
they were around then), I would have pumped a lot longer if I did 😢. Oh wee, when that milk lets in, so painful! You are an amazing momma and are doing a great job! See you in the next one!

@AlyshawithaY baby noises are the best 🥺
Back when I had my first 2, I had a pump where I was literally stuck to the wall and it was awful, I hated it. This one makes it way easier even though yes it still feels like a chore 🙃
Thank you so much Alysha!! ❤️

Hey, I just found your channel and I love it! Night shifts aren’t easy, but it’s hard to complain when you wake up to a cute little baby face! I really enjoyed this video; it’s always interesting to see what the newborn days are like for other moms and families.🥰🥰🥰

Night time shifts aren’t easy but, man, it’s hard to be upset about waking up to a cute little baby face! I enjoyed this video; it’s always interesting seeing how the newborn days are for other mommas/families.

Sweet baby boy! He's so darling ❤ I've always struggled with the broken sleep during newborn/infant days, but you're right the season is a short one. God bless you friend. I hope you are able to feel more well rested soon!

This vlog is giving me baby fever. 😂 I don't miss the lack of sleep, but those baby cuddles ❤❤❤❤

The broken sleep is hard! I remember looking at him in the middle of the night and thinking "yep, you're the last baby, thank you for confirming that" 🤣

It was always frustrating for me to breast feed because I wasn't a big producer. I didn't have a clue about what I was doing, and youtube wasn't as big back then. At least I never watched back then. Lol So I was totally flying by the seat of my pants. So my kids nursed a lot to try and get full. I would pump and get maybe 3 Oz. 🙈 I keep saying I would love another baby, but honestly, the sleep deprivation I'm way too old to deal with. 😂😂 But I would still love another baby. But it's not in the cards. Lol

I had a hard time with my first 2 as well so I've been pretty determined to make it work this time around! So far so good 👍
I feel like this sleep deprivation is definitely a lot harder now that I'm in my 30s 😅 babies are hard, man, but they're so dang cute as well 😍

You are a trooper!!! I never had to pump except when I was at work with Maggie. It looks like such an intense process. Hang in there mama!!!

We're still trying to figure out the whole breastfeeding and pumping thing. I've finally started tracking his eating (only a month late 😅) and am starting to see patterns of how much he's eating and when so that's helping. Started going back and forth again with breastfeeding and bottle feeding and pumping instead of just exclusively pumping because I was getting pretty sick of it to be honest. Everything is trial and error but we're getting there!

Great vlog! You did amazing for your first night alone! I love the aesthetic of your channel by the way. It’s so chill! Love that! My husband was working overnights when I had my daughter, so I was always by myself at night. He barely got any sleep when he got home so I felt like I never wanted to ask him to help me out since he was barely getting sleep either.😅
    Have a beautiful week! 🤍

Thank you so much! I'm glad that you like the direction I've gone with my channel.
I can't even imagine how hard it must have been for you to do the nights by yourself! I'm grateful to have Phillip to help out so I'm not doing ALL the nights by myself.

@@RachelSmyer i’m not even kidding, I’ve never had help at night for any of my kids. My first son was from a previous relationship and he wasn’t around so that speaks for itself. Lol!!
My two younger kids are from my husband, but my husband always works overnights. One thing he did do though was make sure that all the bottles were washed before he left to work to help me out. So that definitely made up for him not being home at night.😅
The sleepless nights weren’t as bad but what was difficult was that my kids are homeschooled so I couldn’t even get sleep in the day because they were all home. 🤣😆
I have to say that you are amazing for breast-feeding! That’s one thing I didn’t do. I breastfed for a little bit and then I stopped. I sometimes regret it but maybe if I have another child I’ll try it out again. 😀

    You both did amazing!
In a year from now, this video will be such a great memory. ❤️
Hopefully your clogged milk duct resolved itself!

Aw, thanks so much!! Thankfully the clogged duct did go away shortly after I filmed this. I guess what I was doing worked pretty well.

Make sure you use warm wash cloth to try to open up that duct too. Love you!! ❤️
