- King Fighter (Shurland Wilson) (March 10, 1928 - December 12, 1999) Born in Victoria Village, on the east coast of Guyana, Wilson got his name, King Fighter, because he was a boxer known for his fancy footwork.

Thanks very much for the upload. I am a Bajan married to a Trini and was who was living in Trinidad when the song was released.It was a clever and somewhat different.. I saw King Fighter perform live and it was funny and amazing to see the difference when he took off his hat.. As a young University student from another island I had the privilege and honour to meet him in a eating place in Prince Street (the supposedly rough area of Port of Sain at thr time)owned by the family I stayed with.
