Paal Nilssen-Love is an incredible drummer. Unbelievable! You know what? Normally I do not like drum solos that much but recently I've been to a trio concert of him in Bumhuis Amsterdam incl David Murray. And I found myself being hooked up to his drumming!
Hey kid! Get off of those drums! Who told you, you can play them!? Wait till he drummer gets back, he's going to be pissed. Look at all those dings you made in his heads!
+Moder Skeppet Please..look at all the dings he is putting in the snare head. That shows wrong technique. He is stiff. A drummer who has good technique can use heavy sticks and never ding the heads. You can give a person light sticks, and if his technique is stiff? He will end up with dings all over the place. I got to hand it to him, he is determined and bold. But taking some lessons on proper technique would make him into a much better drummer. He's got the gift. Now he needs training to make him even better. The name you see is on the rim, not the drum. Its a stick-on ID tag.
+only4crap Yes... that is true. Is this a current style that is coming out in Norway? I used to play like that when I was feeling empty and frustrated. I know how that can be. Frustration music. Even frustration has its music. All feelings have music that goes with it. No more happy musicians?

+Genez apparently he only has dings on that one snare, and you have no idea how those happened.
