I remember growing up most men wanted to be in the NBA then things changed I think because of the internet and allowed so many men and women to be heard and not have to be signed. It gave people all over the world access to the underground ..now look at this explosion ..beautiful in a way because it gave people who would never be heard a chance to actually be heard...on the flip side its scary because as a mother you don't even want your son to be involved in music. Its really sad that many of these people were young and were not even able to live out the dreams ..involving themselves with the wrong people ..being in the wrong environments thus making it inevitable that they would perish.

Rip I wish we just would not rap about guns no more, I wish it were no guns on earth period, we have all lost too many family members to gun violence, it's hard enough trying to stay alive with medical problems and just being human not knowing when our last day is. I feel like if you famous entertainer you have the right to be happy about how much money you make, but I always hear a lot of rappers not only talk about guns but have lyrics that say stuff like if you broke you don't deserve to be around me. I never really hear other types of music like rock & r&b talk about guns or diss the poor. You can still have a great rap flow without guns and bragging. Everybody on Def Jam FFNY is still here, we gotta do better.
