Thank you! I wanted to get a little more but there was a TFR in place. I wasn’t able to fly until later in the day when it was dropped. Thanks for watching! 73
I’ve begun appreciating a little more adventure to my activations as well this year. It’s POTA activations with a little SOTA spirit Way to save weight by flying your camera up! That view was incredible!
This was such a cool video, man. Some incredible views out there. I know very little about HAM but I watched all of this. Some great drone shots, too. I wish more youtube content creators were like you, clearly not trying to embellish or exaggerate their experiences. Love it man. You've got a new subscriber and maybe I'll look more into a Technician license. Keep up the good work!
Thanks brother, I appreciate that. It’s still a learning process for me no doubt. Especially the drone, I had a few before but never attempted to use them for video. I’m liking all the features the air 3 has. Still again, a lot to learn. You should definitely look into getting your tech license. Be careful though, it’s very addicting! If you decide and there’s anything I can do to help just shoot me a email. Kl7ec.alaska@gmail.com. Thanks for watching!
Good job with the drone. I am always afraid I'm going to fly off into the horizon and never see it again! Beautiful country. Thanks for the video. 73 KO4TXN
Thank you my friend! Yeah I know what you mean. Always keep a line of sight for sure, crazy part the Air 3 has a 10 mile range which is stupid crazy! Thanks for watching! Are you guys still in the state? 73
We're in BC headed to Alberta tonight. 4 nights in Lake Louise before heading to the lower 48. I sure loved our time in AK! May make the trip again next summer!!
This makes the lower 48 POTA outdoor activiations look like childs play. Great job showing Alaska outdoors! Too bad a bear or moose didn't wander close (but not too close). Keep up the good work. Nice to see your subs up to 1300+!! (QRP lol) KL7TC
@CliffN9BLE I was QRP again today. Not one contact again. QRP has been a struggle here this summer. Still was able to get some nice shots, that video will drop in the am, 73
Oooh, I'm hoping I can activate in Hatcher Pass. Bringing my radio, a wire and a pole that may stay up if the wind is low. Ready to get out of this Texas heat.
Nice! Hatchers pass is tough due to terrain. Definitely try to get as high as possible. I don’t blame you on the heat! Haha Good luck and enjoy our beautiful state! 73
Magnificent landscapes, you live in an incredibly beautiful region of the planet.
Thank you! Yes I’m bless to call Alaska my home no doubt. Thanks for watching! 73

I got the Buddipole Deluxe Long version and is perfect for Alaska outdoors.
Absolutely! If it wasn’t for such a hike I would of brought the buddipole. 73
