The final of three animatics from the Jekyll and Hyde Musical featuring Dr Pinkie as Dr Henry Jekyll and Miss Pie as Mr Edward Hyde.
THIS IS THE FINISHED PRODUCT, we have no interest in fully animating this. That's a lot of work and Silhouette hasn't the patience to animate.
Completed by InkPotts Creations, consisting of:
Silhouette, who did the drawings, and GhostQuill who video edited.
We do not own "CONFRONTATION" or the Jekyll and Hyde Muscial or My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. This was for fun.
ARTIST NOTES:
For all of you who are curious as to why Pinkie is at the mirror pool, it is because while making these animatics I had the idea, that for pinkie to make the formula (which transforms her into Pinkamena) she used some of the water from the mirror pool. Since it makes duplicates she thought she could figure out a way to seperate herself instead. (very complicated, plot hole filled idea, trying to base it upon the original story is some warped way...) But yeah, that's the reason this last animatic is placed at the Mirror Pool.

Wow, the nostalgia... I used to listen to it in 2014, it's a really great feeling coming back to remember
I was obsessed with this video and song when it came out and for a while but had forgotten about it for the last 2 or so years. Suddenly tonight I was on a flight back home, bored since my phone had died, and this song just appeared and I started singing in my head. All the sudden a wave of nostalgia and emotion came back as I remembered the video and all the memories I had made at the time. Good stuff. So much fun still all these years later.
This song goes down my spine, such a great lyrics and unbelieveable voice and acting. A thousand thanks from me for making this animatic, probably would never heard this song otherwise^^.

3:06 I like this expression. He's saying Hyde will be gone but on this expression it seems more like he's praying for Hyde to be gone instead of being confident.
This makes me seriously want to simultaneously re-read The Strange Case of Doctor Jekyll and Mister Hyde, Watch Party of One, and find this musical so I can fan girl over this guy's amazing vocals and hopefully his acting as well... So well done! It's a shame you won't be making these into full animations but I understand that this was intended to be the final product. (y)
You should definitely watch the musical; it's worth it. It blew me away with how well it was done.
When you deny the darkness's existence, you trap yourself within itself. You need a healthy balance between the dark and light.
I think it's really fitting for this to take place at the pool, whether it's part of the story or not. It feels to me like Pinkie wants to escape things for a bit, as if to get away from people or other troubles, and the mirror pool is a very isolated, personal place to her, so it's perfect for that.
Course I'm not really thinking of an over all narrative, just thoughts.

i cannot comprehend how awesome this video is. my brain just literally cannot understand how amazing this is. i don't care for my little pony, in fact i thought it was both wrong and weird that grown men enjoyed BUT this video and the rest of your channel has somehow managed to watch my little pony. in the space of a few days i'm already on season 5 waiting for newest episodes. so once again well done on your amazing videos and getting me watch my little pony!

i suffer from shchizoaffective disorder, and not like multiple personality disorder or anything like that, but a long time ago, I wrote a fanfic about pinkie pie becoming schizophrenic, and i kind of projected, I imagine after this episode, pinkie became especially paranoid, unsure of whether she herself was a copy or if she was the original, and I rolled with that theory of her symptoms blossoming behind closed doors, even though she puts on a front, she has this twisted delusion/image of what reality should be like in her head. she is the protagonist/antagonist, i've read alot of really good creepypastas touching up on these similar concepts this is one of the best animatics i've seen on that

These are utterly brilliant! The second is my favorite, but all of them were exquisite! I would really love it if you would reconsider animating these, or find someone else to do it, because if it was done right, with as much skill as was put into the animatics, I could see it taking one of the top spots for video of the year. There is so much potential with these, that it would be a shame if this was as far as they ever went. Regardless of your final decision, this series is fantastic, and you should be very proud of how it turned out.
I'm hoping that someone will take these on and try to fully animate them.

iTunes doesn't have this song and you can really only buy the CD from over the internet (there are many versions so if you want this one make sure that it's Anthony Warlow who's singing). But if you find one of those youtube to mp3 download sites you can get it that way.

A friend brought me to this after getting into MLP:FiM and I gotta say…I regret not giving all of it a shot when it was still fresh and new. There’s still a community making new content, but it is far from its peak, but at least a large chunk of the older stuff seems to still be sitting around for newbies like me to find and enjoy.

I know this sounds odd... but have you ever considered doing one of these for discord?
I mean the man has this persona of evil chaos (enslavement and ruling with a dictator like thrawl) ... but only due to the numbing of his soul due to the lack of friends (All down to the fact his magic, whilst is something he cannot help) ....
After he befriends Fluttershy he is tamed into that of a good man... but through the temptations of evil (season 4 finale) it is known he is able to be swayed back into his madness...
And now, after seeing his ease of jealousy (season 5 episode where he is JUST ABOUT ABLE to come back from going back into his evil persona) it is shown that it is an ongoing battle between him and this other side of him....
So you would actually have a legitimate reason (in canon) to do a Jekyl Hyde "confrontation" between discord and his other half :)

***** Discord's inner battle with himself seems a little different from Jeckyll and Hyde if only because Hyde is a completely different person within the mind of Jeckyll, like a person with a split personality disorder to the point of having completely different names, while those two halves of Discord are entirely a part of who he is as a single person.

I had such a confrontation once. In my case it was separating the name I had earned in a griefing team from the name I had given my ponysona.
When it became apparent that I could not be a part of both of two groups I had to choose.. Lets just say my 'Hyde' identity won but I regretted the decision. It took a great deal of effort for my 'Jekyll' identity to sweep away the sins of Hyde.
