"Smokin Merle" was our trailer court manager. He burned a trailer down because he went under it looking for a gas leak with a lit cigar in his mouth. After about a year of trying to " manage" us guys. Ole Merle stashed about 3 or 4 months rent money from a 100 unit trailer park and moved with the money he stole from the out of state owner. What fun. This TV show goes on everywhere in America.Yes. we were the " Rex Rats" in Rexes Trailer Park somewhere in Kansas. 😂😂💯💯

Yes, I've been to all of the parks they filmed at. Some are a little different than what they were in the series, and the season 5-Countdown park they built has been demolished. But yeah, I've been to where they were throwing the bbq's in the lake

I've been watching Trailer Park Boys since the first season was on TV and was very skeptical of "season 8", especially after the latest movie. Episode #1 had me concerned but it all comes together from episode #2 onward. It'll never be season 1-6 (7 sucked IMO) as its been YEARS since then and Clattenburg is gone, but it's by all means still the best effort I think they could have done and hilarious entertainment.

It's just that they financed this season themselves (season 8 was filmed before Netflix picked it up)and Clattenberg and Dunn and aren't writing/directing/ being producers on it anymore and they had a big influence on the vibe of the show. Clattenberg is doing Black Jesus right now which is funny because if you watch that show knowing that you realize it's basically just trailer park boys set in Compton. Like Charley Murphy plays the same role in black Jesus as John Dunnsworth's character in trailer park boys, instead of randy he just has a homeless guy as a sidekick.
