Her accent, hand gestures, stuttering, constant blinking, her clearing her throat sometimes in her interviews have all remained the same. She still openly gives God and the savior thanks in an industry that won’t even mention God. She’s a rare entertainer that doesn’t seem like she sold her soul. You can literally see the same ol MJB that stepped on the scene in 91. She still has the same scar under her left eye. MJB is deserving of this honor because she has put in and still puts in an unusual amount of work! It’s unreal how much material this woman has recorded of the course of 30 years! My goodness!
