Great video! I did the same with my old 525i. The factory engine-body ground was deteriorating. The brown cable insulation was peeling off so i replaced it with a thicker cable & installed the same cable from the body to the transmission housing since my battery is at the rear. After doing this i noticed that my exterior lights do not fluctuate, cluster lights do not flicker & the transmission shifts smoother. ✌️
I’m having the same issue rn , I have power but my car won’t start up , I will be replacing the ground strap with a new one even though it looks fine & let’s see what happens
Man im having a no crank issues aswell , tried with the jump start cable and still doesnt work , my ground cable left side of engine is fine , but havnt cheked the one thats on your video
This video is great I have a 2008 bmw 650i that sounds cery slow when I try to start but it never turns over I belive this is my issue what do you think
The front hood, there is a red box that you open that you connect the positive cable with and the ground next to the tower strut , it’s a bolt that you connect your black wire too
Great video!
