It seems the police and security have become complacent while I have been away, but I'm back and back with a bang, tearing down tyrants 1 at a time.
I honestly thought I was easing myself back into things by doing a few follow up visits but boy have I misjudged that.
Those who remember the original visit to the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre will know just how unhinged their security can be, well hold my drink because I think I have a new contender for this location to replace 'Baldylocks.'
And for the cheery on top we have some of Wayne Couzins old colleagues doing what they do best and that is bending the law to suit the needs of private organisations.
This one really did take me by surprise and I'm sure you will all enjoy it with an added twist at the end for an extra bit of drama. I did make a formal criminal complaint against the security officer and I have also reported the police officer to the professional standards department.

2 years ago the police were handing out fines for not wearing a mask ,now apparantly if you DO WEAR ONE ,they assume your up to no good ,.lol., what a crazy world we live in , that cop should of left his ego at home ,hes not up for the job obviously he see,s himself as superior over the public that pay his wages ,

Face recognition atm is not allowed in law ! It goes against someone's human rights !
Golden Rule: In any dispute between a member of the public and a security guard, public service or private company (etc) the police will always - by default - side with the security guard, public service or private company (etc) . . . the police will always see the member of the public as the party at fault, regardless of the circumstances.
I'm very well aware of this my friend, its a sad fact but true none the less.

But yet a year or so ago. It was the other way around. These people are absolute puppets.

The crime is your face covered they can use facial recognition which they do use so in cases like that I would wear something around head that has LED on as they make your face just a ball of light to camera but can’t be seen by naked eye

Face coverings have become the new norm in the UK if we like it or not. They've been a norm in asia for decades. Nobody should have suspicion over anyone wearing a face covering these days. It's all down to that individuals personal choice.

Only half way through and hate to say it, but the main police officer appeared to be pretty good. A bit monotone, and little energy in his voice - but otherwise pretty switched on if you listen carefully.

Revealingly. The fact that you have rights nevrt entered the police officer's mind. The possibility that you might have a health issue or disability never crossed his mind. The notion of policing without fear or favour never entered his mind. The fact that the equality act 2010 requires him to make reasonable adjustments if he even believes you could have a disability never crossed his mind. So his mind must have been elsewhere? Additionally he took an oath. Wonder if he activated his mind that day to consider the responsibility that he undertook by msking that pledge? Seems highly unlikely.
