Calling Japan a victim of imperialism is funny considering Japan were literally doing imperialism themselves and responsible for millions of people dying. Prior to the collapse of Imperial Japan in WW2 they occupied parts of modern-day China, Thailand, Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Cambodia, Laos, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Myanmar, New Guinea, Guam, East Timor, and Nauru. The use of nukes is somewhat questionable but to act like Japan was a victim after WW2 is wild.....
Thanks for naming the countries, people from the west don't really understand how brutal the japanese rule was and how wide spread it was. Saying "most of east asia" isn't enough. We're counting hundreds of millions suffering under their rule.

Everyone acts like the nukes were some unique atrocity or something, but almost as many people died in the Dresden bombings as in Hiroshima.

For those who dont understand, hasan thinks you cant be racist towards white people because they are the majority, so to counter someone said was johnny somali not being racist to japanese people, where they are the majority and him in the minority.
To which hasan fumbled because his stance has no logic to it, so he couldnt logic himself out of it, he deserves all the hate honestly
It's also funny when he tries to demonize white people and say we deserve it because of our history, while he is literally a Arab from Turkey the the people who have committed the worst atrocities for the longest amount of time throughout recorded history

He fails to recognize context, he fails to recognize power, he fails to recognize social conditions and he fails to recognize history. All of which you need to make an assessment on most racial topics. XQC makes 0 material analysis and runs with what Destiny says, or how he feels.

@@aarontech2257 that's literally what xqc perfectly understands, he is saying that is secondary to the main problem of slurs being ways to put people down based on their skin/ethnicity. Historical context make slurs worse, xqc agrees with that, but hasan and his ilk think it's the only important factor, making others slurs without strong historical context of oppression okay to say.
Xqc simply says don't say slurs to attack people at all, while hasan think some are okay if it's against white people or if they're Cuban because destiny is Cuban and he has to maximise his destiny ad hominem skill tree.
This is such a basic thing and yet hasan is blinded by his own hate and can't live without racism against white people being okay.

@@iko20101 the reason he arrived at that conclusion is wrong. he's making it out like Japanese are historically oppressed so they fit under his umbrella of racism. the reality is that japan were ruthless imperialist's...some could even argue they were worse then the germans
@@usnortz7176 I mean they were oppressed to an extent. Like during ww2 in the US people who were or thought to be Japanese were put into "internment camps" which were basically just concertation camps but slightly better. Also the bombing and after ww2 they weren't threated the best either with the US basically telling them what to do and how to do it for like 10 years. There might or might not be more examples of Japanese oppression in the past but that is the most known example of it. I get what you are saying and for most of Japan's history they were the oppressors and not the opposed. Hasan is taking the issue head-on but arriving at the wrong conclusion, what Johnny Somail is racist for what he said and did, but not for the reasons Hasan makes it out to be.
