  • In this video i am demonstrating the simulation of a double stage single phase solar PV inverter using matlab. i have also explained the control algorithm used for the simulation.MPPT controller, DC bus voltage controller, and grid current controller are explained in the simulation. feel free to post your doubts in the comment section. if you like my work please consider subscribing to this channel.

    Really nice video, it helped me a lot, thank you very much! I just could not follow why you chose the gain and PI values of your simulation. Could you explain this with more details? Could you provide the papers from where you got the knowledge?

    I did everything exactly same in 2023b version. Its says error. Derivative State 1 in block pv array transfer function.there May be a singular in the solution. Can you help me with this sir

    I am getting the correct grid voltage and Dc voltage but the grid current is having so many ripples and also display block is also not showing correct value of power Also How does your powergui block turns Discrete Auto... mine is not changing?

    Seems, There's an issue with the control Scheme
    You have created a reference of 400 V and requested to operate boost at V_MPP. If the Boost MPP voltage and DC Bus voltage are different, there will be a conflict in which control loop to be followed.
    The solution is- Instead of making 400V as DC bus reference, use V_MPP as a reference voltage. Then the complete scheme works fine.

      400v is controlled by inverter, not the boost converter

    Thanks a lot. I have one question.
    In Matlab 2022a Fcn is not recommended. Instead of Fcn, Mathworks suggested using the MATLAB Function block. Can you please tell me what I should write inside the Matlab Function block instead of Fcn block? Thanks :)

      You will not get the same results, because there's an error in the ciruit.

    Really nice video! Thank you for sharing! I applied this control methods to diffirent type of dc-dc converter. But my grid current has got a 3th,5th,7th harmonic and so high. How can ı eliminate of this harmonics? I need your help:)

      Hi. I think the reason is that each filter stage will phase shift by 45 degrees at the filter corner frequency . So two stage are need for 90 degree phase shift .this then gives alpha and beta waveforms.
