Bought one from AliExpress, works very well on ANY old phone charger. No need for QC2.0 or 3.0, it even works from an old 5V transformer ! Great for powering little gadgets from cheap Chinese USB power packs !
hello nice video..I am the same contraption, because it loses its starting point with a 12 cc engine? the display flashes and then after a while it starts again?
We have the same boost power supply, but i think mine is broken! The voltage screen is not moving when im rotating the volts adjuster. The screen is still in zero. What must i do?
Maybe check the input or output capacitors, diodes and inductors? Possibly just a bad potentiometer, too. Good troubleshooting practice.....cheap and easy here, too!
I want one that outputs variable voltage and amperage to the USB port. I want to be able to exceed the USB 4.0 type C 240 Watt standard. I want a USB power supply that can fry anything... I also want a truly universal USB port adapter IC... one that can charge every USB device in the world... from USB 1.0 slow charging to the newest proprietary super-fast charging tech and EVERYTHING in between. I want all that combind into one USB type A port and one USB type C port. I want it in the form factor of a benchtop power supply with the two USB ports and the standard banana jacks. Basically I want a benchtop variable power supply that can charge every single USB device that has ever been made, and potentially ones that haven't been made yet... all using one of two ports... built into a regular benchtop power supply. I want my 6 year old nice to be able to bring me her 1998 Palm Pilot that she got from her dad (she wasn't alive in 98) and be able to diagnose charging issues, then turn around and diagnose charging issues in my neighbors Warp Charge on OnePlus device in that same port minutes later without having to adjustment a bunch of settings... I want a device that will allow me to fry anything... if used stupidly. Not intended for Joe Blow consumer ... something that should not be used by someone who doesn't understand that fast chargers and the devices they charge use data lines to negotiate proper voltage and amperage settings. I know that turning up the volts and amps to above 5wats to let's say 10 watts without negotiating with the device is enough to fry a fast charging device capable of handling 45 Watts, simply because the device wasn't prepared to use that much wattage. I want a power supply that people who don't understand that shouldn't even be made yo be aware that such a device exists ... if such a charger doesn't already exist, I want to start manufacturing and selling it with huge warning labels saying idiots beware, it's not a matter of if but when.... you will fry your device. I like Linux because I have all the power, even the power to wreck my own OS... I want a USB power supply that offers me the same level of control... the power to destroy my devices. A device that gives me all the control, all the power, and leaves it up to me to wield it wisely. Think there's a single IC that could be programmed to do that? Any ideas on how to implement that?
To be clear, I want that same IC that's capable of doing all that, to also be able to be programmed to use proprietary charging negotiation protocols... not just a variable output. Basically a big box on my desk with one usba port and one USB C Port both ports do the exact same thing... they will charge literally anything you plug into them, without frying it... but also you can override that and turn up the heat, so to speak, if you like the small of the magic smoke. Or if you built your own custom USB protocol that allows you to use something crazy like 300 watts or something ... say a homemade robot project for example. Not that I have a robot that charges at 300 watts and uses a standard USB port... what? Why? Okay okay so maybe I have some crazy stupid projects going but still, I see value in such a power supply for other hobbyists and maybe even formally educated EE's.
What is the input and output amper support?

and you are the only person who did a review of this product
hello nice video..I am the same contraption, because it loses its starting point with a 12 cc engine? the display flashes and then after a while it starts again?
you are right!!
Over current limit. About 700 mA
Amazing what they can build and we can buy for under $4.
Exactly i paid 1,95€
hello can i use battery rechargeable.. to this converter if can use where i want to solder the wire for rechargeable battery
i bought the same module is that normal the module itself generate heat? my input volt is 5v and the ouput is 3.5v
I found this after looking for a step up converter for a T100 Soldering Iron. Do you think it will work with this or not enough amps
No, 3W max.
How many amps does it have on 12v
0.250 Amps
Can i use this to power 12v 2.5A router?
No. Amps times volts is watts. You need about 30 watts of power. This module has about 3 watts output max.
can i power a 12v inverter with 150w using this?
No. It puts out 2 to 3 watts max.
We have the same boost power supply, but i think mine is broken! The voltage screen is not moving when im rotating the volts adjuster. The screen is still in zero. What must i do?
I press the on and off button already like what u have said in this video but still the screen is not moving... Pls help!
Maybe check the input or output capacitors, diodes and inductors? Possibly just a bad potentiometer, too. Good troubleshooting practice.....cheap and easy here, too!
just what i was looking for thx for reviewing it
còmo puedo hacer un programa que controle ese modulo o que pueda activarlo y desactivarlo ?
Appreciated with your published awesome video. Thanks for your sharing. :)
How to use as battery charger
I want to use this booster on a 20000mah power bank to power a 12v 15w led bulb. Please will it be able to power tje led bulb?
No, i believe it has max supply of 3W....best for low power regulation.
@@englishrupe01 thanks for your reply after 2 years. i was able to test it an it powered the led bulb. thank you once again for your reply.
@@nonsochinyelu3863 Glad to hear it!

Can I use this with laptop ? 20v 3a ?
No....that would burn it out immediately.
hey can you power a 150w inverter using this?
Can i use this with 19v step down to 12v ?
Yes you can.
@@mozartips wow nice. Will try. Hope it doesn’t fail
@@ecgm19 Only 3W max, though.....so at 12v it could only supply around 250 m'amp, so may not work for you.
How about using a cheap 12v laptop power supply?.....lots of them around.
How much watt is this?
Please visit the link in the description.
3W
Cara mengatasi naik turun daya bagaimana? Mohon info nya
Thanks for you video
