"And we'll all feel gay when THE WINGED HUSSARS ARRIVE!"
That actually fits holy shit
When the winged hussars arrive hurrah, hurrah,
Maybe we'll come out alive hurrah, hurrah,
Coming down the mountainside,
Coming down they turned the tide,
And we'll all feel gay when the Winged Hussars arrive.
@@lazer_kiw1 very fitting, my good sir
More like "We'll all fall dead"
The Turkish men turned and fled, hurrah, hurrah!
Victory was in our grasp, hurrah, hurrah!
European culture once again
Can thank the Poles for saving ‘em
And we’ll all feel gay when...
The winged hussars arrived!
God has come down on us, hurrah, hurrah!
He went down and struck them down, hurrah, hurrah!
For the Christians have been spared,
The Muslims have been kept out,
And we’ll all feel gay when the winged hussars arrive!

Warren Lehmkuhle II it’s not an Irish song
@@Strawberry-12. look up Johnny I Hardly Knew Ya, it was originally an irish song.
@@ratbastard1711 It would make sense due to the number of Irish Immigrants flooding into the United States at the time. That Johnny Comes Marching Home would use an Irish melody.
@@ratbastard1711 Johnny fill up the bowl came first with the melody and then came Johnny comes marching home for the Civil War lastly was Johnny I hardly knew ya when the writer had the Fiance of his sister killed in battle and changed the lyrics.
It’s not an Irish song. It’s an Irish American song. It was written by an American with Irish heritage
the best thing is that name Janek (John) is pretty popular across polish military marches. Literally in polish marches there are few names that repeat sometimes, like Basia or Janek.

Yes to Pirogis and Chruscik.
Love and honor to brave Poland from an American girl.
"No to communism" is the reason they're nothing but toilet cleaners and border guards for the EU.
Poland was greatest under communism, and so was every other Slavic state. Anything else is just cope from opportunists who got rich from the theft and privatization of the proletarian property.
Long live the worldwide class struggle. Hasta la victoria siempre.
@@Ved000000 Say that to a slav, go ahead. Nearly everyone in that area agrees on something and it's that they didn't like the soviet union.
@@SunnyGaming3710 You're moving the goalposts and making it about the Soviet Union's actions in those countries.
Every Slavic country was better off under socialism. Any Yugoslav who's not a fascist or rabid nationalist will agree that Tito was the greatest leader Yugoslavia ever had. Anybody who's educated themselves will realize that was because of Marxism and the revolution. Czechs and Poles have just been poisoned by intense CIA and Vatican propaganda to the contrary.

I am United States citizen with Grandparents which immigrated between WWI and WWII. I ❤️ this! The song sings very well in język polski. So strong and masculine.
Please my friends, be on guard yourself. I pray for you and Ukraine.
Why do the polish guys singing this song seem so damn tough?
Because Polish people can be very tough when fighting for Poland (and if you want proof, even after years of Germanization, Russification, and partictions, we still fought for the independence we finally received after the USSR fell. (Hell, some home army soldiers even fought the Soviets after WW2)
Poles like any other Eastern Europe ethnic group are tough as nails.

Gdy Janeczek z wojenki wróci, hura, hura
Przyjmiemy go jak należy, hura, hura.
Młodzieży śmiech, oklasków moc
I wszystkie panienki jego będą
I radzi wszyscy będą, gdy Janek z wojny wróci
I zagra pięknie kapela, hura, hura
By powitać dzielnego chłopca, hura, hura
I wróci młodziakom humor znów
I kwieciem umają ścieżkę mu
I radzi wszyscy będą, gdy Janek z wojny wróci
Szykujcie tedy dwójniaka, hura, hura
By wypić zdrowie wojaka, hura, hura
Kwiecisty wieniec gotów już
Za wszystkich wrogów co wziął pod nóż
I radzi wszyscy będą, gdy Janek z wojny wróci
Niech zabawa trwa dziś do rana, hura, hura
Niech każdy wszystko z siebie da, hura, hura
Podarków dlań nieście pełne ręce
A radość napełni żołnierza serce
I radzi wszyscy będą, gdy Janek z wojny wróci
