Wow, idk how to describe this bit I love it. I feel like this is what Death Metal sounded like when it wanted to be "Brutal Death Metal" yet the Punk influences weren't as big. One step above Cannibal Corpse, one behind Crytopsy.
Yeah, but unfortunately cryptopsy kinda lost their touch. None so Vile is an extraordinary album though.
at times it reminds me alot of six feet under, the vocals have some simularities to chris barnes and it has that same death 'n roll groove to it like sfx.

G Note This genre is called "Old School Death Metal"
You do realize "Old school" is a musical style, a sub-category which exists in pretty much every Metal genre... even in Deathcore or Technical Death Metal.
Old School is an era also a style, sound and techniques (genre), not neccessarily release/record date. John Williams for an example is a modern Classical Guitarist, not saying he's Vampiric.
