good question, never happened to me before. Question is the kind of skin rabbit glue you use. Is very different, i taught iconography worldwide and in fact this glue is very different. But it seems by your description your plaster as you call (The armenian bole) not enough mixed with the glue sometimes happens if you not keep everything vary warm too.
