When I see Karthi and Dq I get the same feeling and vibe.. I can't see Dq as an actor from another state.. Somehow Malayalam actors are connected in the hearts of Tamil people❤ just my opinion.. ❤

@@raulamino1709 Baat aapki bhi theek hein.. I get that since I have studied Hindi, in Hindi it's pronounced "Raamaayan" and in Kannada it's "RaamaayanA" though both are written the same.
But the thing for me is that I think in Hindi for example : "क्" "क" are more or else pronounced the same way.
Whereas in Kannada : "क्" "क" "का" are 3 distinct pronunciations.

That's why it doesn't feel like you are pronouncing it as Karnataka but as "कर्नाटक्" not as Kannada but as "कन्नड्" isiliye we have to ask you to pronounce it as "कन्नडा" "कर्नाटका" though it's not written that way
Most of us in Karnataka don't consciously know this, so they have been keep on correcting it, par finally hum bhi aapke Co countrymen hein, bus Karnataka Aur Kannada yeh 2 shabd sahi se pronounce kar lijiyega toh humein bhi khushi hogi 😄

I have fallen in love with the Malayalam industry lately. Brilliant content, very progressive approach, great making & acting. No unwanted objectification of women or item songs (Intimate scenes are there but they blend with the story.)
Some suggestions: Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya He, Rorshach, Nayattu, Kumbalangi Nights, Jana Gana Mana, Bheeshmaparvam, The Great Indian Kitchen, Dhrishyam, Joji, Lucifer, Minnal Murali, and much more.

something special is happening in the Bangali scene, Bangladeshi and Indian Bangalis have started collaborating and promoting each other's content. it's a whole new dimension for creating art together. Now Chanchal belongs WB just as much as Prosenjit belongs to BD. there's many more things to come from BD and WB collab, I hope Assam will join this in future as well. art is the only way to keep aside the political differences among Bangalis that was created in this region.

Not a fan of Karan but his knowledge and understanding about the industry and market is commendable..
He’s a GURU when it comes to the business & logistics of cinema, yet he won’t take risks. His industry is highly politicised, it’s just sad they do not have the creative freedom that other industries enjoy.
There's one intervew with Rajeev Masand where he discussed about the anatomy of a song which was Tum Hi Dekho Na from his movie Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, I literally bowed to his cinematic brilliance listening to him. Not only that I believe My Name Is Khan was one of the well researched films from Bollywood. Sadly, that creative Karan is long gone now since he started taking interest in the film business more seriously in the last decade. Having said that, he truly lives and breaths cinema but I hope Rocky and Rani tanks at the box office so that he goes back to making rom-com with Shah Rukh Khan again in which we middle-class want to get swayed again.

I've been searching for the year end interviews of 2022 and I must say that this is by far the most versatile panel of filmmaker, producer, actors and actresses yet. And I agree with Karan at almost every point. Whether it is about satellite consumption or Anurag's views on independent fimmaking. Overall, it's so well conducted & well planned. If there were a Lady filmmaker, that'd have been so great.
Dammmnnn! Ovation to Karan for his knowledge about the film industry and not just about bollywood but of all belts. He breathes, eats, laughs and sleeps movies. Much much much respect for him!

Karan really has self realized what hindi cinema is lacking and his investments throughout the different indeustries is a proof of it. Hate him or like him he is an og in the himdi cinema. From kkhh, k3g, to brahmastra he has really given something to the industry. And I demand Karan to release a directors cut of Bombay Velbet as we all know it was heavily edited because of its long run time.
With the panel of 10 members, I was so happy to see Varun giving shout out to Nipun's movie. He really has a heart of gold and honestly it is actually disheartening to see a good movie not getting a platform for it's release.
