I like how this version's chorus has the feeling of a wild joyride in a dream and that there's a lot of echoing, speed gimmicks, and clock motifs throughout the song. Our Time is like a self-aware evolution of the core meanings that the original My Time expressed.

omori is my favorite video game of all time (you’re talking to somebody with several pieces of merch on their desk at this very moment), but i knew of pale machine and this song in particular years before omori came out. it’s so insane seeing this song remade and transformed like this. bo en you are awesome

What a whimsical and offbeat piano. The mechanical sounds really sell the experience. And the orchestral chorus is soooo gooood. The delayed explosion sunk my heart badly. This is the song of self-maintenance, like the other one was the song of (you said sleep, I think insomnia). My neck was throrughly wrung by like indeed. The dissonant interference and counterbeat to the waltz indicators make this one of the hardest songs I have listened to this side of UT. IDK what PT did here but DAMN this song is pure gold. SInging a long with voice 2 is so surreal. The crwod cheer for self-improvement and it gets muffled. I like that the second explosion keeps the beeping vocals of the first one. But more desperate and cyclic. The second time hurts so bad and is so intense and commanding!!!!!! Yet understanding. I love it to bits. Best interruptions, now it's not so understandng! LOVE LOVE LOVE!
This is absolutely a masterpiece. I can't wait to see what works of art the Omori fandom will provide us with this. I will certainly appreciate everything and more.

This was my favorite song of the album next to the prelude, and OH MY GOD. ITS FANTASTIC. It isn't just because I'm an Omori fan, it's actually completely unrelated. It's just so fantastically different and the sound effects and styles are SO GOOD. MMMM.

If you listen to this part at carefully 1:05 to 1:19 you will find out that it follows a music style similar to John Coltrane's "Giant Steps" which goes into melodies shifting from tone to tone. This is called Coltrane changes and some songs in both Pale Machine albums use Coltrane changes either partially or completely
this specific part not only uses coltrane change, but literally includes coltrane's solo from giant steps (you can hear it in the bell-like melody)

God what an amazing sequel, it so perfectly portrays the derangement of suffering from insomnia for such a long time. I know that feeling, tossing and turning and desperately trying to SLEEP and just finally end the day, but you can’t, your mind keeps racing, you just can’t. This song feels like a hypnic jerk.
In the original song, bo en sings completely alone. But here, many voices join the final chorus. You aren’t alone, we aren’t alone. Amazing work
