It's interesting to see the changes. I worked at Six Flags Over Texas from 1976-1991. In September 1991, I moved to San Antonio and worked for Fiesta Texas when it was owned by insurance giant USAA and operated by Opryland. In 1995, I called Six Flags Over Texas park president Bob Bennett and told him I thought USAA might be interested in Six Flags taking over. I was there the first few months after Six Flags took over but left in May. I'd like to go back to Fiesta Texas sometime and walk around the park.
Thank You so much for making this great video of what i have been missing since i was there last in 2002. Im going next week so really looking forward to seeing all the rides and having a total blast.
I went there back in 1987 and had a great and memorable experience. I look forward tp going back there even if it is only to walk around the park and get new wonderful memories.
I live in Florida and will be going to san antonio for the first time next weekend, I have the seaworld pass that gets me in all the parks in the USA so going to spend the morning there but do plan on going to this park in the afternoon there are some rides there that I am itching to try. some of the rides looks a lot like the ones we have here (like the drop ride, similar to Dr Doom and universal and the inversion coaster like montu at busch gardens) this video helped!
❤️👍🏻 this video! We are planning a trip next year. Could you make a video, explaining what you were talking about why the poltergeist was not in operation during your visit you said something about it being magnetized and it pulling a lot of power can you explain that? 👍🏻😁
In the summer during heat waves to Texas power grid can get overwhelmed. Launch coasters require a tremendous amount of power in small bursts which can rec havoc on the power grid so I believe they are asked or required to not operate them on occasion.
This should be one of my favorite Six Flags parks, but unfortunately, it's my least favorite currently. When I went there in March of 2013, the waterpark wasn't open for the season yet and Iron Rattler was still under construction. It was also extremely packed on my visit with wait lines for most rides around an hour. The worst part was at the end of the day when I saw Pandemonium with a 45 minute wait that actually lasted 90 minutes. I wanted to ride the former Scooby-Doo: Ghostblasters next but my mother was worried about missing the bus back to out hotel so we didn't do that in the end. But, the bus system in San Antonio is one of the worst out there, and it showed up late and left later than it should've to the point where we easily could've ridden if multiple times in the end. I regret not doing it these days because of how it's gone now. So you're probably wondering if I'll ever go back considering that was the worst experience I ever had in an amusement park, and I am happy to say I certainly will. What happened on that visit was partially my fault as I chose the wrong time to go there, so I variant to return in the summer time one year and have a much better time there.
I’ve also had some absolute terrible experience at the park search the channel for a video that is just that. However despite that I still love the park and just being there. And yes not only is public transportation in America pretty terrible but in Texas it is absolutely horrendous even walking anywhere can be a challenge. as I’m going to find out tomorrow walking to my hotel that’s less than a half a mile from six flags over Texas with no sidewalks
Wow you don't know who that DC villain in the middle..... Man you probably more of a Marvel fan😂 jk haha....That is Darkseid the biggest baddest strongest villain in DC era. You could say he is similar toThanos.
F fiesta texas all they do is bait and switch. Now going to charge for the vip lounge. Bought diamond pass because it came with free admission to the vip lounge. Well they are now charging 10 dollar admission to go in and your only allowed three entries per passholder false advertising
@@TheCoasterSpot I would normally I wouldn't be so upset but I'm done. I'm a single father of two daughters 13 and 14 what spare cash I have goes to 6flags already not for me but for them. I'm not rich at all but I'm done with the nickle and diming me. My apologies if I was outa line.

The park didn’t open until 1992

@@Amaar102 Not for everyone it isn't
It is usually this empty? What time of the year was this video shot?

No unless you go on some rides like screaming eagle or slingshot

Great video. Are there any rides that don’t flip you upside down
Plenty…
Darkseid is in the middle of the villains. From The New Gods by Jack Kirby.
still worth it to go there, only rant is stuff is expensive there
I put a 👍🏻
Thank you!
Can we take funny packs, tote bags and wear jeans to get on the rides?. Is my first time going soon please
Fanny pack allowance differs from ride. All other bags are not allowed on rides but there are bin or free lockers at every single ride
Can you review six flags fiesta Texas again
Next time I visit, I will definitely be doing an updated tour… not sure if that’s gonna be this year.
ENTREPRENEUR BOOMING I WAN'T SOME MORE
What day was this? I’m impressed there is no people
A very hot Thursday in late July
It ain't magic mountain😐
They took off Scooby Doo
Yes, that’s the pirate dark ride now.

bro you need to go back this park is literally amazing, just went last weekend
Just go on a Sunday in the morning literally no one is there
If you can, I’d splurge on the fast pass that reduced your wait time by 90%. SO worth it
Bro, saying that happened to me
Sigh...I miss Astroworld 😢
We all do I was fortunate enough to go to the second to last weekend for my first and last visit
Shame on u for not knowing who Darkseid is lol

Dang that’s annoying I’m not sure if they’ve done that to my SixFlags in New Jersey. I’ll have to check up on that when I visit again
