AGAIN!!! I am only 4 minutes into this video and I see how much you have "upped your game." Love the nail polish to mark key and lock since luggage locks are all the same key. (Wish I had thought of this for my last escape room, I hunted down four different keyed small locks- no easy feat.) Thanks for all you do. You are my "GO TO" before I plan my escape rooms which are on a different level since I am preparing them for my "Boys" ( My husband and son are both mechanical engineers). I love planning them and with your help, they have come to be a staple for family celebration dinners. Thanks again. I couldn't do it without your help.

i like how this one is short and sweet. It's a good length for little ones so they dont' lose interest.
I also wanted a quick one that didn't require a ton of set-up for people. Sometimes having lots of props to make / create can turn people off of making escape games.
I remember a long time ago this was a Travel Channel and she went to wild and exotic places around the world🌎

Love your escape rooms. You are so creative.. I have been creating escape rooms for ICU nurses and have been able to adapt some of these ideas for high level nursing skills! Keep them coming.. I hope there will be an Easter one

Love the water colour changing to clear! Is there anything different that can be used instead of Povidone iodine ? (To keep cost down)
Since it is a chemical reaction, that’s the only compound I know of that works. Maybe another chemist out there knows better than I! However, the iodine is fairly cheap for a giant bottle on Amazon. It’s not that pricy, happily!

I may have used them as testers about 10000000 times for my at-home escape room business. Their training has started young. LOL
How did you make the maze?
I just Googled "line maze for kids" and found one that was developmentally appropriate for my kids' age. Then I made a shamrock cutout and traced it on the maze three times, and cut that part out with an Exacto knife. There are a ton of different themed line mazes online. :)
How did you make the light box?
I got some fairy lights off Amazon, and put them inside the box, drilling a hole for the cord. I cut the code out of a piece of paper and wrapped it in black tissue paper so it couldn’t be read without a light shining behind it. And then I put it in a box that had a cut out on the lid so the image could appear when the fairy lights turned on. Pretty cheap!

In the first bottle, the one with the clue taped under, you mix water and povidone iodine. The bottle you use to clear it, the second bottle, is water mixed with a bit bleach.

How did you draw in the *word code on the in the *huge bottle
Hi again! For the "LUKK" tag, I just printed the word LUKK on paper, glued it to black cardstock, then taped it to the underside of the jar so that it wasn't easy to peel off. I'm not sure about the second part of your question. Which 'huge' bottle are you asking about? Can you give me a time stamp?

If that's what you are referring to, I just typed up the note, printed it off, and taped it to the underside of the lid of my big clear bin. I show in the video how I turn the clear bin into a locked box. I try to use cheap items that are easily found to make creating games easier for you! :)

The word lock has interchangeable dials, so if you have the right letters on the dials, you can change the lock to whatever word that works. I chose "LUKK" because "LUCK" wasn't an option (there was no C on the dials). Is that what you mean? 5:41 just sends me to a picture of the note that I taped the final clear lock box.
