Small tip: when sanding small pieces hot glue them to the work space and they don't move as much and the glue is easily removed from the work pieces. Xtools.
Awesome. I knew you were talented. They are beautiful. The table chandeliers would be pretty too with the base dark stain and the top lighter. You two are so blessed. Love watching your videos, keep them coming. Stay safe.
How does this compare to the xtool 40 watt diode laser and the machine your using now seems really loud or is it the mic really close to the cutter I am waiting to make a decision on what laser is best for me so thanks for your videos
I'm not sure because I've never used the Xtool 40W diode laser. What I can say is the P2 is really incredible compared to other diode lasers I've tried. The machine is very high quality and works really well. I really love their software as well.
What settings did you end up with for the cardboard? I found I had to go much slower and much higher power than I really expected on cardboard to get clean through in a single pass. Think I landed somewhere around 80% at 60mm/sec
I'm not sure! Depending on the machine it might take a few more passes to cut the thicker wood but you can always use thinner wood and glue it together. Hope that helps! :)
The P2 has a lot of different features that justify the price point. Also the P2 is a C02 laser (not a diode laser) and the quality along with the technology the P2 offers really make it worth the price. It does a lot more than the Falcon. The Falcon is a nice entry level laser, but the P2 would be my choice for anyone looking to get into laser engraving more seriously or wanting to start a business.
Great video. Lots of ideas! I am just about to get a laser machine and will certainly be making items like you have created in your video. You live in a beautiful place for sure. I would really like to know where you got your steak knives from plz? Thanks for sharing :) Derek, from Ireland
Hi Derek! Thanks so much!! It's really an incredible machine. We are really happy with it so far. Honestly the steak knives we got at a discount store and they don't have any information or brand on them so I don't know where they are from! Wish I could help more with that.
Lol it didn't take too long actually. The longest ones were the placemats because there were so many cuts but I don't think it took more than 30 minutes if I remember well.
@@PacificPinesRanch oh wow is it just me who thinks 30 minutes is A LOT of time to cut one piece? 😅 i wish they made a 100w desktop laser. THAT would be ideal 😂 Thanks for the quick reply btw!

It definitely is!! We absolutely loved using the machine and the software. :)

Same here! I'm pretty sure I was close to that too. It was definitely surprising.
pretty fancy candleholders. your hard work paying off with sponsorships. lite saber next?
Very elegant!
Thank you! 😊
Nice video! I would look into somehow attaching or suspending the candle holders when lit so that they don’t tip over if you bumped the table
Thank you!! :)
The small prototypes for the placemats could also make a great lamp shade (use 4) if placed in a square
Love that idea! :) So many possibilities
Wow the beautiful candle holders! Awesome art how many watts on the Xtool machine to cut that thicknesses
Thank you so much!! :)
I have atomstack s10. Can I make it like this candle stand on my machine.???

Xtools easy peasy!

What was the down time for your second one you did?
I can't remember exactly but I think it took about 20 minutes to cut the light stands and about 30ish minutes to cut the placemats.
Xtools Great work!

xTOOLS How cool it that!!
Thank you!! :)
Interesting vedio . I m waiting for next vedio.
Thank you!! :)

This vs the Falcon2 40w, is the 15w worth $4k?

How long did it take to cut and engrave each item in your video?! Would you say it’s a fast laser or will i need xanax to deal with it?! 😅
