Here I am again I need to replace the other side. Even though the side that I replaced 2 years ago needs replaced again, it is because of the chrome paint that is on the inside of the housing it burns away and causes the light to not shine at all. Literally says Headlight housing, unless they changed the title of the video, where do they say this video is for headlight bulbs? This is exactly what I needed for a crack in my headlight assembly. Which is the purpose of the video. People commenting need to remove their stupid comments.
Very good video thx.
Thank you I was going to spend 150 dollars to a body shop but don’t need to ty👍
This was probably the most complicated difficult way ever to remove these bulbs😂 all you have to do is turn the wheel to the side and unscrew the liner and you could literally reach in and get the bulb out and replace it 😂😂😂 work smarter not harder‼️ but good info on the bumper tho lol
this is for people that want to replace the entire headlight housing u moron 😂
It’s the high beam your not going to reach though. What your talking about is replacing the lower beams
Why do you need to remove the bumper to replace the bulb and headlight.
I was quoted $1190 before tax to replace both housings at the dealership... Lol, no thanks I'll learn how to do it myself.
awesome 👌🏾
why the hard way?
Wait, I have to disassemble the car just to replace the headlights??? 🤦🏽♂️💨💨💨💨💨
Yes to your question.. if you are looking for replacing the light bulb... this isnt the video for you... the other video showed pealing back the plastic protector by the wheel and exposing the rear of the bulb. Reach in and replace.
this is for the HEADLIGHT HOUSING and yes you have yo remove all those bolts and nuts for you to replace the HOUSING/ASSEMBLY, not the BULB..
The whole headlight assembly yes but not the low or high beam lights alone
shyshotcaller27 yes
I mean wtf is this nissan? couldn't make this easier
Driver side is easy by peeling back the lining but My passenger side blinker went out and it's not reachable from behind the lining how annoying...I gotta do all this to replace a damn blinker
i know that you can access the low beams without removing the bumper, but can you access the high beams only when the bumper is off?
Isn't this a Nissan Sentra? It definitely ain't my 2013 Altima. If it's a Altima it's 2018 and up. Very detailed video , but why put it's for 2013-2018 Altima when it's not? That's a pretty important detail don't you think? Hopefully it works for my 2013 Altima
After watching this thank God my 2016 Nissan rogue does not have this kind of problem it only has this kind of problem for changing the radiator
Here I am again I need to replace the other side. Even though the side that I replaced 2 years ago needs replaced again, it is because of the chrome paint that is on the inside of the housing it burns away and causes the light to not shine at all. I just wished that the whole assembly did not have to be replaced.
You can get thru the wheel well
Thanks for posting BUT, totally RIDICULOUS on the Nissan engineers to do all this just to put a bulb in a socket !!!
You can just pull the lining back and change the bulb
If any one is doing this for a 2014 model it's different,. This vid does help but there are differences in bumper removal in the 2014 model. I will post a vid on how I changed my burnt out headlights
Like this video but what tools I'm I using for this job? Also is it just me or did he skip a lot before the video got started 😂😂😂
All This for a simple Light bulb replacement?
It's BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!
All this for a simple HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY replacement
READ ... just read. Title is "Headlight Housing" ... not bulb.
Unnecessary when you can reach it through the wheel well
thanks
This video shows how to change the headlight bulb through the wheel well: www.carcarekiosk.com/video/2017_Nissan_Altima_SL_2.5L_4_Cyl./lights/headlight The video above is showing how to replace the whole housing (like if you want to upgrade to a different housing design)
This video is for replacing the headlight assembly. If your low beams are dim then the headlight assembly has an oxidized reflector coating which requires replacing the entire assembly. This is a known problem with some Altimas.
How to remove the grill
Was nissan smoking crack with with hunter when designing this car?
Is that a Wisconsin accent I’m hearing?
