I wouldn't say parrying is everything though I somewhat disagree with that because not a lot of people don't have good timing and a lot people don't go and see how to perfect their parrying or any moves that can help them in a fight.
If you say not to fight against such characters, then I'm afraid you've just encouraged everyone to do the opposite. LOL Some people like me can be quite self destructive.

I suggest if you parry a super, you counter with your own super! cause it looks cool like "its my turn!" cause if you counter a normal attack with a super, you look desperate, unless they have high enough HP that no combo can finish off the job. Also how is geese compared to jin? geese has that parry that switches position allowing geese for a followup

I've been struggling to move forward with him due to his lack of any threatening mixups and vulnerable high damage options. Anyways, keep up the good work on your journey it's nice to see someone not take Online HWO, Paul, and Law BS and get away with it for once. They are the bane of rank existence I swear >.
