No, diesel trucks have more torque and horsepower than a gas motor can have while sustaining way more reliability and better fuel economy. Diesels are better in every which way except for the expense.
beavo smeezing up the course
i lowkey barked him
"not the kellington" 🤣
hi troyjan i love your vids and i watch them to help me get better at mx bikes and you should make a settings vid becouse im wondering what your camera settings are and hi from new zealand
He did make a settings video
13:40 I'm crying with laughter
What’s your best lap time on this track on the 250, w vid
a 1:09
tips on to get fatser i have like 30 hrs and its rough
playing often, set a decent erode, play hard tracks so the easy ones are cake, and get a good set up
Diesel engines have more torque because the engines are built heavier and with longer strokes than gasoline vehicles in order to be able to effectively provide the high compression nessicary to ignite the air/fuel mixture. Diesel fuel has a much higher energy density than gasoline, which makes it apply greater force to the piston when it is ignited. This, plus the heavier components and different stroke length and compression ratios make diesel engines produce more torque. Torque is the measurement of force produced by an engine and horse power measures how fast work can be done. Gas engines are able to make greater horse power at higher RPM's which makes them able to attain higher speeds and diesel engines make greater torque at lower rpm's which make accelerate faster from a stop. Of course you won't normally see this in the real world (like watching a semi get up to speed) but that is because the torque being produced is being utilized through different gear ratios to move heavy loads rather than attain a quick increase of speed.
You actually want someone to expain diesel?😂
Big ass pistons, heavy, solid+ turbo= low rpm range, lots of torque. Hope that helped😂
Diesel engines are compression engines and have similar characteristics of two strokes, two strokes are a type of diesel engine
Two strokes ARE NOT a type of Diesel engine 😂. Not sure if you're just trolling or actually don't know so I'll explain. Diesel is a type of fuel. When calling a vehicle a "diesel" you are referring to the type of fuel it uses. Diesel engines are compression engines, which means they don't have spark plugs but instead rely on compression to heat the fuel/air mixture to combustion and diesels use glow coils to help with the heating of the cylinder, two strokes use a spark plug just like any other gasoline engine. Also, the majority of of diesel engines are four stroke, meaning they have four strokes per cycle, intake, compression, power, and exhaust. And two strokes have two strokes per cycle because basically the power, intake, and exhaust steps both happen on one stroke. So no, two strokes are not a type of diesel engine. Two strokes run on gasoline with oil added into the gas either in the fuel tank or by oil injection into the cylinder at the same time as the gas, and they have two strokes instead of four.
@@misc.2682have you never seen a 2 stroke engine? They don’t run on compression the fuel is ignited with a spark plug just like every other gasoline engine. Also there is a 2 stroke diesel that runs via compression built by Detroit
@Hunter-to6uq Oh wow. That's actually crazy, I know full well that two stroke engines have spark plugs 😂😂 I think that dude saying they were compression infected my mind for some reason. That's wild. I mean, I ride snowmachines, and you uave to change the spark plugs all the time 😅. Not that all snowmachines are 2 stroke, but the ones I do are! Thanks for calling me out. I think I'll change my initial comment now... lol
We need the setup
nice!!
jan you gotta start riding more difficult tracks if ur gonna win a1 this year
He probably is off recording
skill issue
Scroutch release your gear
I would assume diesel is a thing in general for its slower burning properties making it more efficient for industrial use
and yes diesel does give you more torque thats why big trucks run it so they can get more torque
What map is this is it payed
i got mx bikes now
What is this track
Yo Jann can you hit us with a scrubbing tutorial? I need help cause I suck
Damn i raised diesel myself on bikes. I think i did well. Nows hes the best on our team
I'm still waiting for the thug shake Jan
the triple scrubington
Big trucks use it because it burns hotter and longer.. to my knowledge, I don’t think it does anything to the torque.. but I could be wrong about that.
yea they use it cuz of its efficiency
ima buy this game fr
You know I was just thinking the other day that that should be a boundary. BAM, jumpscare from the ghostride bike! 😂
yea your correct about diesel. Nice Job troyy lol
W
The diesel itself doesn’t add torque. The engine process has higher compression than gas engines which leads to better efficiency and more torque
