@@joanholland5688 when you butt the 2 pieces of batting together you press the tape ( which comes on a roll about 1- 2" wide) over the pieces and it holds them together.

Gorgeous blocks Emily! 💖 Have you tried the seam tape? You just fuse it over the two pieces of batting.
I also use seam tape. Its great and fast!

love, love, love this method. think the stitching together of the batting is a whip stitch!

This way of joining blocks is wonderful. I have tried some other ways and ended up giving up on that Quilt As You Go pattern.
