Demo General Scud storm is the strongest in the game, It can take out another super weapon or a command centre in one shot :) What you should ask is what is the difference between the normal particle cannon and the super weapon generals particle cannon.

Scud Storm was always the best, the only drawback being it's slightly longer delivery time (from activation to actually hitting the target) giving your opponent some time to react to the warning.
I don't play multiplayer really ( I have a bug that I cant fix) but even against bots you should know when enemy activates nuke or scud storm you should make your troops run away in all directions and just spread out to save most of them if they are being targeted.
the particle cannon deals too much damage on a very small area. the chinese nuke deals good damage over a modest area. the scud storm deals somewhat good damage on a wide area. but their damage outputs are way too huge it's hard to comprehend if we are in among the vehicles that got hit by them anyway. strategically speaking, the scud storm is the most "powerful." doesn't require in-game power, and is very spammable (unless you're in tournament mode)
biggest advantage for a scud storm is that it cleans up any GLA holes left after the buildings are gone, which is something the nuke can't do because it's just one explosion.

The nuke is easily the worst. It has literally no advantage over the scud storm. Only hits once, longer charge time and uses power. I suppose it has access to the nuclear tank upgrades though
main advantage is that nukes are smaller, meaning you can A: build more of them and B: they have less surface area to set on fire with the particle cannon.

Actually the particle cannon is superior in many situations especially when you need a super weapon faster when playing 7 enemies at the same time. you need to disable the enemies super weapons so the particle canons 4min charge time is best. If you have plenty of space then the scud storm is nice as a few can wipe out a whole base. Last is the nuclear bomb as it takes 6mins to count down and doesn't do as much damage as a scud storm.

The Strongest or best ...every one has his own opinion but the most powerful one must be the Demolition Scud upgraded fully it is so much powerful than any sort of super weapons i have seen in zero hour ...reason is very simple if we look at the most super weapon that does the most damage its can be the nuke General but it has only one missile so it does only one time the damage a GLA scud has 8 missile with less damage but 4 missiles can do as much damage as a particle weapon so 8 double as much , but not as much as the nuke version . as demolition has 8 fully upgraded demo charge for extra damage it can do slicely more damage then the nuke version.if we compere these 2 together and take a GLA HQ ( The reason why i choose this one is that Gla has manholes other then all other faction that needs to be destroyed to otherwise it wil be repaired for free again) no nuke or other non-gla super weapons ( unless they are damaged) can destroy this hq . not even the fall out . 2nd the Gla Scuds are more widely radius then other super weapon to do as MUCH damage as possible . SCUD is the best. It does pretty much the same amount of damage as the nuke, but has less reload. It also contaminates the ground with toxins afterwards. On top of this, it destroys holes as well.
It's true when you get Anthrax Beta/Gamma upgrades. Scuds leave a toxic cloud way deadlier than radiation. But nukes can kill instantly weak buildings and troops.

W/o mods particle cannon is best imo. It can be manually controlled and if you do it right it can destroy 3-4 buildings, CC is exception ofc. I used it mainly to destroy enemy's power plants. Nuclear is the worst against GLA since it's a single hit it will always leave a GLA hole, shockwave was a blessing for nuke.
Nuke is good against defenses. Particle cannon is good for destroying one line of defenses or building or forces. While scud storm is good for massive destruction and all Plus scud storm does not need a power supply

Def not the Nuke Missile which is bullshit, when a SCUD Storm hits the toxin lingers for about and hour and a half and kills everything it touches...but, for some reason, radiation(which should ACTUALLY linger for years) dissipates within a moment or two...or at least it seems like it. IMO the radiation should last like half the cooldown time of the Nuke and do less damage...just a sapping damage to vehicles, moderate damage to infantry, and just enough to keep GLA holes from rebuilding - to make up for the fact that a fucking NUKE won't destroy GLA holes and makes the Nuke damn-near worthless against GLA. Against USA it's pretty badass - takes out air units, buildings, rangers that appear after the building is lost, etc. I'd say 1)SCUD, 2)Particle Cannon, 3) Nuke
A different weapon for a different purpose. Use the particle cannon to crush a defense line. Use the scud storm to crush multiple buildings. Use the nuclear missile to crush large groups of units.
If I would rank these superweapon buildings I would go 1. SCUD Storm 2. Particle Cannon 3. Nuclear Missile Reasons: Scud Storms AoE is massive but each missiles have different aoe split up for its effectiveness, the anthrax gamma and demolitions generals variant can bring down an entire command center or a superweapons building surprisingly each rocket can destroy other lesser buildings to destroy, the downside is its rockets have a slow travelling time to reach its enemies which you have enough time to evade your forces which is by far the best and devastating superweapon, Particle Cannons laser beam can be manually controlled to where it will strike to one place to another which is effective to bring down lines of defenses and chase any army units who are trying to flee and creates soms flames to burn enemies for a short second which is effective for strategic gameplays, its superweapons general variant makes the cost only half which is decent but building many can bring damage to other players advantage, which its by far the mose decent superweapon building to use, only downside is the need of power, for the Nuclear Missile, its decently good on wiping the whole army out in one shot, but its AoE is not good compared to the scud storm, and it takes 2 missiles to destroy a full GLA building and the US and CHI command centers and superweapon buildings and 3 missiles to destroy a GLA Command center and Scud storm, the only good about is its radiation can block enemies path for team plays, it has no general variant specialty, and overall its a niche superweapon to put it at use

Gotta go with the PArtical Cannon, unlike the other two, it is a interactive WMD, Even when on the defence it's the king. Enemy units show up, lazor comes down, fire all around.
General Schwarzop ( Towns ) was not a lazer general anymore, he was an assault general, his Particle Cannon was replaced by a Tomahawk Storm, nothing changed by Crappy Nuclear by the way...
Scud Storm for sheer damage and area denial, although it's slow impact time is a problem. Nuclear Missile is relatively quick to arrive and it's radiation can damage vehicles a fair bit, but it's a much smaller denial weapon Particle Cannon is versatile, come down quick, but doesn't do the same kind of Damage over Time or denial.

Well... it all depends on who are you fighting against. Particle cannon is good against almost anything, however the area of effect is kinda low. Nuclear missile is good against everything. However, its damage is only a one off effect. Therefore you will need at least 3 nukes to destroy strong GLA buildings like their SCUD storm or command centre. As of SCUD storm, I would say that's the best of all 3, as it can efficiently destroy stuff like nukes and best against GLA.
Now a days I pretty much just spam Nukes and Scuddies if I get the chance to - its like building up to almost 20 nukes or Scuddies and pretty much leads to a slaughter fest on the enemy ...
Nobody mentions the travel time of the weapons. Scud Storm does most damage, but you can't use it as good as the Cannon to dogde an attack for it is hard to predict where the enemy units will be standing after the Scud traveltime. So Scudstorm does more damage, but Cannon is more versatile, especially against anything that moves.
The SCUD storm is the most damaging overall, I believe it's either Juzhiz the Demolition general or Dr Thrax the toxin general's SCUD storms that are the most powerful though, trying to remember when it was a while ago but I'm sure I destroyed a command centre in one hit with one of theirs =P
Probably scud storm of demo general. Because if you upgrade it (high explosive, radioactive waste) . When it hits target not only impact gives damage, but after the impact, also each missile spreads bunch of flying explosives in random direction which rains to the ground and deals a lot of damage. I like to play as demo general, because it also has nuclear explosive transport truck which is very dangerous and useful
i have a way to check wichs is better fire them on a main base or super weapon from diferent factions and see who takes it out in the least attemps that one is stronger
I prefer the scud because it doesn't need any power plus if it gets damaged it gets a second chance like the other glad structures, plus the demolition general's version in zero hour packs a heavier punch albeit with no anthrax though
Demo general + scudstorm = an obscene amount of damage that could probably decimate other superweapons. toxin scudstorms kinda suck even compared to the vanilla scudstorm or a nuclear missile.

@Commie brony: The RA1 version of Iron Curtain and Chronosphere are both much, MUCH worse than the Particle Cannon. They work mostly like their RA2 counterparts, but they can only effect one unit with each use. Also, the Chronosphere "wears off" and pulls the unit back after a short while.

Party cannon If you do it right, you can blow any building (Including Command Center) (Superweapon Party cannon easier) Click on target Quickly click FAST on another point on the building (Click over and over rapidly until laser beam reaches area) Keep drawing random lines till laser runs out If you do it right, the fire should kill the Command Center Don't just go back and forth, randomized is better! There! Mission Accomplished!
You just want to let your Scud Storm do the dirty work, destroying all infantry and vehicles within the area of effect. Using Nuclear Missile and Scud Storm is easy, target a bunch of buildings, and click to watch the fireworks. IF you know how to use it, its the best superweapon. I remember taking out 7-8 enemy buildings and around 10 enemy infantry/vehicles against the hard army. It is also useful against GLA buildings, which get rebuilt after being nuked down.
-Particle cannon: fun to use, little splash but fast charge and good firepower. -PC(Alexander):Spam and win :D -Nuke:Arguably the weakest, longest load time, can't of destroy holes, radiation doesn't do much even to infantry. Nice explosion, that's about it. -Scud Storm(GLA or Kassad):Great firepower, toxins render production buildings useless until gone, no power needed. :D -SS(Thrax):Same as others but pretty fucking weak. it's the one used in this video. -SS(Juhziz):Obscene amount of damage.
I agree with others - SCUD beats all else, especially if you are a specialist general. It has the widest blast radius and the damage done is spread out unlike nuclear missile. You can argue that particle cannon is also the best and i can't say it's too wrong, especially if you have the chance to build them for 2500$. SCUD is still more universal and durable. And by far is the nuclear missile the worst. Long countdown, damage is too centered and who the hell needs that radiation anyways?
Particle cannon is strong but clumsy in use! Nuclear bomb is very strong and devastating but needs a long time to reload! Scud storm is not very strong but causes multiple damage in the target area and it makes more than one continuus hits at a time!
before watching, i'd say scud storm. For its high damage over several attacks. And the chem field it leaves behind. Also its unpowered. And cant be disabled if you lack power which the two other does.

As much as I love playing Chinese Generals, SCUD Storm without a doubt is OP. Preferably the Demolitions variant.

A different weapon for a different purpose.
Use the particle cannon to crush a defense line.
Use the scud storm to crush multiple buildings.
Use the nuclear missile to crush large groups of units.
Scud storm probably because they can also destroy Gla holes unlike Nuclear that is strong too but is stupid against Gla because of the holes
scud storm is the best by far because the nuke cant destroy the gla base and the particle cannon...it can destroy 2 or 3 buldings
If I would rank these superweapon buildings I would go
1. SCUD Storm
2. Particle Cannon
3. Nuclear Missile
Reasons:
Scud Storms AoE is massive but each missiles have different aoe split up for its effectiveness, the anthrax gamma and demolitions generals variant can bring down an entire command center or a superweapons building surprisingly each rocket can destroy other lesser buildings to destroy, the downside is its rockets have a slow travelling time to reach its enemies which you have enough time to evade your forces which is by far the best and devastating superweapon, Particle Cannons laser beam can be manually controlled to where it will strike to one place to another which is effective to bring down lines of defenses and chase any army units who are trying to flee and creates soms flames to burn enemies for a short second which is effective for strategic gameplays, its superweapons general variant makes the cost only half which is decent but building many can bring damage to other players advantage, which its by far the mose decent superweapon building to use, only downside is the need of power, for the Nuclear Missile, its decently good on wiping the whole army out in one shot, but its AoE is not good compared to the scud storm, and it takes 2 missiles to destroy a full GLA building and the US and CHI command centers and superweapon buildings and 3 missiles to destroy a GLA Command center and Scud storm, the only good about is its radiation can block enemies path for team plays, it has no general variant specialty, and overall its a niche superweapon to put it at use

oops made a mistake last response nuke must be at at 7th place on top and fully upgraded............ my mistake still does alot of damage but as "Joe Moorman" already said against GLA its just useless

You can test it! You need 2 SW Attacks to destroy another one. But well placed, Radoll's SCUD Rockets take out an enemy SW with just one salvo xD

Gotta go with the PArtical Cannon, unlike the other two, it is a interactive WMD, Even when on the defence it's the king. Enemy units show up, lazor comes down, fire all around.
General Schwarzop ( Towns ) was not a lazer general anymore, he was an assault general, his Particle Cannon was replaced by a Tomahawk Storm, nothing changed by Crappy Nuclear by the way...
I like the fact that the chinese supply center was left at 1 hp from a freaking nuke.
If you double click with the particle cannon it goes faster,+ particle cannon is only 3.50,
so i like it the most :)
Scud Storm for sheer damage and area denial, although it's slow impact time is a problem.
Nuclear Missile is relatively quick to arrive and it's radiation can damage vehicles a fair bit, but it's a much smaller denial weapon
Particle Cannon is versatile, come down quick, but doesn't do the same kind of Damage over Time or denial.

leave it at 0% then use ctrl + Q and click the battlefield... it will shoot then :P

SCUD Storm hands down. Extra points if you're using demolition general or toxin general. (But really, demo scud is where it's at.)
Demo Scud Storm actually has more damage. It can destroy a superweapon, or left it with only 5% health
Well... it all depends on who are you fighting against.
Particle cannon is good against almost anything, however the area of effect is kinda low.
Nuclear missile is good against everything. However, its damage is only a one off effect. Therefore you will need at least 3 nukes to destroy strong GLA buildings like their SCUD storm or command centre.
As of SCUD storm, I would say that's the best of all 3, as it can efficiently destroy stuff like nukes and best against GLA.

Now a days I pretty much just spam Nukes and Scuddies if I get the chance to - its like building up to almost 20 nukes or Scuddies and pretty much leads to a slaughter fest on the enemy ...
Nobody mentions the travel time of the weapons. Scud Storm does most damage, but you can't use it as good as the Cannon to dogde an attack for it is hard to predict where the enemy units will be standing after the Scud traveltime. So Scudstorm does more damage, but Cannon is more versatile, especially against anything that moves.
The SCUD storm is the most damaging overall, I believe it's either Juzhiz the Demolition general or Dr Thrax the toxin general's SCUD storms that are the most powerful though, trying to remember when it was a while ago but I'm sure I destroyed a command centre in one hit with one of theirs =P
Probably with Juzhiz one, beacuse Dr Thrax its more centred in taking down untis and infantry

Probably scud storm of demo general. Because if you upgrade it (high explosive, radioactive waste) . When it hits target not only impact gives damage, but after the impact, also each missile spreads bunch of flying explosives in random direction which rains to the ground and deals a lot of damage. I like to play as demo general, because it also has nuclear explosive transport truck which is very dangerous and useful

Also while nuke and particle cannos require power they are smaller in comparison to the scud storm

i have a way to check wichs is better fire them on a main base or super weapon from diferent factions and see who takes it out in the least attemps that one is stronger
I prefer the scud because it doesn't need any power plus if it gets damaged it gets a second chance like the other glad structures, plus the demolition general's version in zero hour packs a heavier punch albeit with no anthrax though
chinas nuke missile has a fatal weakness to the gla you always need an extra one to destroy gla building as they just become gla holes

Demo general + scudstorm = an obscene amount of damage that could probably decimate other superweapons.
toxin scudstorms kinda suck even compared to the vanilla scudstorm or a nuclear missile.

Particle is good if u r super weapon general who gets them 1/2 off but the demolition scud does the most damage.

The RA1 version of Iron Curtain and Chronosphere are both much, MUCH worse than the Particle Cannon. They work mostly like their RA2 counterparts, but they can only effect one unit with each use. Also, the Chronosphere "wears off" and pulls the unit back after a short while.
Ahaha for example in red alert 2 yuri if u play lybia and build bombtrucks and then iron curtain on em , u can easily place em at enemy base , then w8 for instant base deletion :))))
For me its Nuke coz its quick and its an area attack than Particle Cannon which only u can kill small area and ScudStorm with delaying missiles

Click on target
Quickly click FAST on another point on the building (Click over and over rapidly until laser beam reaches area)
Keep drawing random lines till laser runs out
If you do it right, the fire should kill the Command Center
Don't just go back and forth, randomized is better!

You just want to let your Scud Storm do the dirty work, destroying all infantry and vehicles within the area of effect. Using Nuclear Missile and Scud Storm is easy, target a bunch of buildings, and click to watch the fireworks. IF you know how to use it, its the best superweapon. I remember taking out 7-8 enemy buildings and around 10 enemy infantry/vehicles against the hard army. It is also useful against GLA buildings, which get rebuilt after being nuked down.
-Particle cannon: fun to use, little splash but fast charge and good firepower.
-PC(Alexander):Spam and win :D
-Nuke:Arguably the weakest, longest load time, can't of destroy holes, radiation doesn't do much even to infantry. Nice explosion, that's about it.
-Scud Storm(GLA or Kassad):Great firepower, toxins render production buildings useless until gone, no power needed. :D
-SS(Thrax):Same as others but pretty fucking weak. it's the one used in this video.
-SS(Juhziz):Obscene amount of damage.
I agree with others - SCUD beats all else, especially if you are a specialist general. It has the widest blast radius and the damage done is spread out unlike nuclear missile. You can argue that particle cannon is also the best and i can't say it's too wrong, especially if you have the chance to build them for 2500$. SCUD is still more universal and durable. And by far is the nuclear missile the worst. Long countdown, damage is too centered and who the hell needs that radiation anyways?
Particle cannon is strong but clumsy in use!
Nuclear bomb is very strong and devastating but needs a long time to reload!
Scud storm is not very strong but causes multiple damage in the target area and it makes more than one continuus hits at a time!
before watching, i'd say scud storm. For its high damage over several attacks. And the chem field it leaves behind. Also its unpowered. And cant be disabled if you lack power which the two other does.
