You share an important amount of knowledge and understanding Doctor thank you. Looking forward to more topics. I will not make a suggestion because the list is extensive and you'll probably cover many to come where you see fit.
I usually have to use copay coupons for whichever current inhaler is offering it that year. There’s usually one or two that, with insurance and the coupon, reduce the out of pocket cost to $10 or $20. The problem is you end up switching brand inhalers every few years or so since the coupons are only a year long promotion put out by the pharma company. I went from symbicort to breo to trellegey etc many different brands all for chasing that discount cost. I have been through roughly 10 different brand inhalers over the past decade
The systemic side effects of inhaled corticosteroids can cause permanent damage to your body. It is sustainable in short term, long term wise it is not that good yet it is a maintenance treatment for asthma. Not to mention other temporary side effects that decrease your quality of life. It works but it would be nice if there's less side effects and better solution in the future to treat asthma.
Airborne allergens, such as pollen, dust mites, mold spores, pet dander or particles of cockroach waste. Respiratory infections, such as the common cold. Physical activity. Cold air.👍
Can you make a video on Drug-induced gingival overgrowth? I can’t find one on all of UA-cam !! I got confirmed results from a biopsy that I have this and I’m almost certain it’s from my adderall . Wondering if there’s anything I can do to help it and if maybe lowering my dose of adderall will help. But it be helpful to hear ANY information on this. Thank you so much in advance !
Mine is mild. Cigarette smoke is definitely a trigger. I use a HEPA filter at night so I never have issues at night . Exercise can trigger it but I can generally ride bike or hike. Interval training is more difficult. I almost never need to resort to the Albuterol.
Why not use albuterol for interval training I just stopped taking Brea Elipta I run and I use albuterol What would you do instead? I am very interested in in taking no drugs
@@camillevote7901 not sure. Right now during allergy season I have to use Advair inhaler daily which keeps it under control. So far no need to use Albuterol. I did not develop asthma until I was older. Not sure why some people get it young vs older. Might be various viral illnesses that influence it. I agree that trying to avoid drugs is good. I have had some mild help with citruline. You can get it at those vitamin stores. But my doctor always cautions me about "herbals." It is like concentrated watermelon.
@@markmoreno7295 thank you for your help and your ideas I appreciate any experienced knowledge I also found out I had asthma latter in life My pulmonologist thinks it flared up because I started running I have exercise induced Bronchoconstriction I only use my rescue inhaler when I can’t catch my breathe or the coughing gets to much March 6 I stopped brea elipta AND My lungs are not feeling any different
