  • This video shows how to use Bullseye Glass and Powder Frit with stencils to create nightlights.

    Firing schedule:
    Keep in mind this is an old kiln with no timers and an analog dial pyrometer. I'm sure it's not accurate and may need adjusting. And it's showing it's age after several moves.
    After the latest move (and being in storage for about 9 years), I basically I did some testing with temperature readings and results to determine how long to cook based on desired effect, so temps may not work for you exactly so take it as information on my experience only as well as anything else in this video.
    All times and rates are estimates and are not exact.
    Fusing the powder to the white glass:

    *Glass powder/frit or ZYP spray may or may not have been used in this project/video. However, if using these products, or using any other method that produces any kind of powder such as crushing glass, etc, wear a mask.
