- Steve Yanovsky(RN, Rt-R, EMT-P, CRCST, CIS, CER, CHL) explains medical terminology through human anatomy. Great for CRCST, CIS, CER, CHL and allied health professionaals. This episode covers the skeletal system.
So, the most interesting thing happened. I commented here like 2 weeks ago about a SPD opportunity. I got a phone screening but they didn't select me.
That same company had an Expo and I went for another position. In the mix of things, the director of SPD sees my resume and asks me if I applied before. I told her and she was surprised I was not hire because she liked me and the resume. Apparently I was the best candidate but I was an exterior candidate.
Long story short, the internal candidate decided to stay in her previous position so I got the job offer today.
G-d works in mysterious ways. Congratulations my friend 👍 wishing you much success!

Hi sir, have you heard on IAHCSMM (hspa) approving an optical facility to complete the 400 hours? I saw on their website that you can fill out a form for non traditional facilities, like dental, vetenary, or optical facility and see if it gets approved.
Thanks in advance!
Everything is possible as long as the tasks performed at the facility match the sign-off sheet from the HSPA. I know dental practices work well.
Hi, just want to ask what's the connection of this topic in decontamination and sterilization of instrument? I'm from the UK and working as a Sterile Technician .
In the US there is an organization that offers certification to "Sterile Techs". The organization is HSPA and the certification is CRCST. Part of the training includes basic medical terminology and human anatomy and here is the connection. Having said that, I teach other topics as well, this is just a sample of how and what.
Do you by chance know what the starting pay for a instrument tech play?
I wish that I could be more helpful, but I fortunately, there are different pay scales in the same state by zip code.
How can I apply to start the course
@@felistasngururi-je8ym which course are you thinking about ?
