This video highlighted why we do not go to Cades Cove, anymore. It is always too crowded. This video showed the beauty and serenity of the cove.....not the traffic, and hordes of people and the smell of car exhaust. Thanks for this
Thank u so much for sharing this BEAUTIFUL RIDE THROUGH CADES COVE!!!!! My Daughter fell in Love with Cade’s Cove every since the first time she seen it!!❤️ & The 🇺🇸Pearl Harbor Tree🇺🇸 was AWESOME!!!! I never knew it existed & as Dawn said u can Never see the true Beauty of Cade’s Cove unless u get up & be out there by daylight because of all the Cars & Trucks! Traffic is HORRIBLE through there! My daughter will get up & go out there by daybreak she has some AMAZING photos of Deer,Mommy Skunks with babies,Momma Bear with baby bears,Turkeys, Snakes, almost any form of wildlife that u can imagine in that area of Tennessee❤️
This is awesome. What a special place. And with nobody there? Even better. To be able to hear the wind and the wildlife without cars breaking and sudden bear jams would certainly add a special bonus to the visit. As the video continues, you can hear how earthly still it is. A drive down Parson's Branch Rd. on a day like this would be spectacular. To see all of those old growth trees on a winter day would be something to see. Maybe some day the park will receive the funding to open that section back up. Based on what the Rangers say, it could be years before it reopens. This would have been a fun day to see the cove in winter. You would think the colors would look dull but it is just the opposite. It looks like you had a nice day.
hey guys we just got a chance to watch. teresa said to give it 2 thumbs up , she really would like to be there with you all at the cove. keep sending the videos
Great video, Will and Dawn!! Been to Cade's Cove several times over the years. Always so much beauty. But we've never been when there's snow!!! So awsome!! Thank you for sharing!!
Cades Cove is always beautiful no matter what time of the year. Wow....1948!! So glad they are repairing it! Love the snow on the mountains. Thanks for sharing.
God's country for sure..!!..looks like you pretty much had the whole place to yourselves..that tree was very touching..thanx for another beautiful vlog. ☺
Loved loved LOVED this video Will and Dawn! You really captured such a rare tranquil Cade’s Cove and by not putting music in you really highlighted the serenity of the moment. I’m SO jealous, I’ve never seen the Cove so peaceful. 🕊 Thanks for sharing this Gem with us. Was just there in November, be back in Spring. Much ❤️ From Michigan.
What a once in a lifetime opportunity to see Cades Cove like that. Our family always makes a trip to Cades Cove. It has to be one of the most beautiful places on earth.
Unfortunately when I went to Cades Cove in May 2021 it was on Mothers Day traffic was backed up there was a ranger she said u could turn off n go back out of maybe one day I'll go back
Thanks for making a good kind video about one of our East Tennessee attractions. I did a video showing the ways and the type of folks here in East Tennessee and called it " 20 things you must know before moving to Tennessee" it has been received well. Glad you guys visited us.
When I was a kid back in the 50's and 60's I remember crops being grown in those open fields. Cades Cove is my favorite place to visit when I go back home to East Tennessee. So peaceful in you video. Thank you.
Beautiful! I so love the Smoky Mountains and can't wait to come back in May for our annual girl cousins trip there. I missed last year's trip because I had just finished chemo for breast cancer. Chemo knocked me out of my trip last year but I plan to be there this year...with bells on ;) I SO enjoy all of your Smokies videos. Keep them coming please. Blessings, Will and Dawn
Man, you guys went to Cades Cove at the perfect time with no people there! It looked awesome! I know all about the huge crowds that pop up there. I will be in the area this coming Sunday, May 31st, so we're planning on going to Cades Cove first thing in the morning maybe on Monday or Tuesday hoping there won't be as many people there!
I always called Cade’s Cove the peaceful side of the Smokey Mountains I love it there. Beautiful scenery thanks my friends for sharing this it’s so quiet never seen it this way before.Very Peaceful 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I have seen Cades Cove like this a few times before......and it was like heaven on earth!! It reminds me of going to my grandparents house in east Tennessee when I was growing up. You could hear nothing but the sounds of nature for miles around. Hopefully the wildlife will get a much needed rest from all the human tourists these next 2 months. Great video......I'll be watching this one over and over again!! 💕
I have NEVER seen Cade's Cove that empty. 🤗You made a great decision to make the trip👍So beautiful. I pictured life there as you extended the shot at the cabin.♥️ It would have broken my heart if Dawn had fallen.😱 Thanks for the video 👍👏👏👏👏👏
Laying in our tent listening to the red wolves howl my late wife getting up in the middle of the night and tripping over a deer that was needed down right next to the tent, the hike up to Rainbow Falls, and the climb up Clingmans Dome, eating dinner at Stella Partons in Pigeon Forge, good memories of one of the best trips we ever took
Hi guys, I just want to say thank you so much for making these videos about The Smoky's, Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge. I visited back in September from the UK and totally fell in love with the area. Your great videos help me keep all my amazing memories alive. Keep up the great work and thank you again.
Omg absolutely gorgeous! Have been to the Smokies and Cades Cove several times but have never seen it quiet like this! ❤️ we will be there in April. Taking my parents to the area for their first time ever! Can’t wait to show them all of the beautiful sites this area has to offer!
Glad I found your channel! We’re New Englanders who love the Smokies and Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. We were there the second week of December and were only able to make it as far as the campground, the loop road was closed for whatever reason. We plan on going back in March after the construction is over with and hope to enjoy Cades Cove.
I’m surprised that there’s much snow. It’s been unusually warm at night in in north Georgia. I bet it’s amazing being on top of that mountain surrounded by snow and looking down where it’s clear
looks like a beautiful day. One of the best times I ever remember going to Cades cove was one time in February and it happened to be 70° and there was ice at the Mill. But it was warm. And hardly anybody there.
I watched a video of Bernard Meyers and in the old pictures all that land in cades cove was bare not all the trees we see now. Look it up it was great video. Also my husband and I ride our bikes around Cades Cove 1 time on 3 different days in September when we visit. We must be nuts, but it's sorta like it is now, no cars.
So pretty. Thanks for the tour. We haven't been on the Cade's cove loop yet, maybe this fall. It will definitely be packed then, but worth the look. I have even got my hubby watching your channel with me now. 😉.
Well that's gonna suck😬one of my favorite places to get away from it all in February when on vacation and most of the time in the winter clingmans dome is usually closed also😬but still other beautiful places in the smokies to visit 😁thanks guys for the information and showing the beauty of cades cove👍👍
I love to go through the cove in the smokey mountains here ive been going there since I was a kid too but ever dently you don't know that you can through the back door and still get into the cove too there's two ways into the cove from the smokeys side or you can come in from the bathroom's side of the cove too by the road access end of it too cause I've went out that way cause of the traffic being so bad in the middle of the summer months to be able to beat the traffic from the smokeys side of the park have a good day now and I'll keep watching the video here too okay thanks
Enjoyed your video never been to Cades Cove before would like to visit sometime if my brother & his wife would take me they been there before last time in 2018 & they really enjoyed been there so maybe I could get that chance since we r coming down this year in June
Cades Cove that quiet would be amazing. I've been there several times, but always during the summer. The last time it took us over 2 hours to get to the 2nd cross road (forget the name offhand)
That was amazing never been there when its not crowded, Thanks for showing also we didn't know about Pearl Harbor Tree going to have to check it out next time I go.
Awesomeness at its best!! Love it and Thank you for posting these videos, I can go to the mountains anytime now! We use our Chrome-cast to watch them on our Tv.. It’s Great! ❤️🍁🍂🌾
Very inconvenient place to travel to in the winter. Finding camping was like pulling teeth. Cades cove shut down the day following my enterence to the park and my luck gave me Elkmont campgrounds due to cades cove closure. Otherwise, definantly not a nomad friendly place in winter unless loaded with cash. Most everything was shut down. Gatlinburg was awesome however and if i didnt plan a day there, i would have skipped over the Great Smokey Mountains National park with nothing but bad review. Forgive me for fuming on your channel and this video. Im still freshly butthurt over travel this side of country. Lol great video.

I love Cade’s Cove! It is a magical place in the park. So pretty anytime of the year. I love to camp there and at Elkmont.
Love Cades cove❤️ nature is the main reason I come to the Smokies. It helps me with my stress.
