My sister has been struggling to find a doctor that will listen to her. She is 39 and has almost every symptom of Cushing's. 3 doctors so far and they dismiss her as a fat girl. She is to the point of not wanting to live anymore. She has 2 beautiful boys that she wants to be healthy for. Please, do you know a doctor that will listen to her? I can't watch my sister live like this anymore.

I have so many symptoms of cushings. My Diabetes nurse practitioner feels strongly that I have this, but my thyroid cancer Doctor did 1 suppression test and said no. I have diabetes #2, autoimmune disorder, thyroid and 3 tumors removed due to Hashimoto's & cancer, I've lost considerable muscle mass, thin legs/arms, fat belly, stupid hump... the list is ridiculous. Any suggestions? 😳

Where are you located? I had Cushing's Syndrome and had an adrenalectomy in late October 2019. I am getting back to regular things now. I started yoga about 6 weeks post surgery. My hair was thinning since early October. I had hyper-pigmentation on my neck, chest and upper arms, i started gaining weight in May / June and ballooned-up in July 2019, bloated all the time to the point of being uncomfortable. Had to urinate all night, and I could not sleep. Started having muscle weakness in my legs in June, i still have some weakness and my skin is different now. It's going to take some time to get back to normal. It took a while to diagnose. My cortisol levels were elevated but my GP did not suspect anything until i started showing him my buffalo hump and pointed out my moon face and the other symptoms. He sent me to an endocrinologist and in August, we started down the rabbit hole. The problem with every step of the way, was getting authorizations to see the right doctors and having them go "in network". I am 54 years old and i've never been through anything like this before. I hope this helps anyone who needs it. Good luck. My surgeon was wonderful. I am in Oceanside, and so is my doctor, if anyone would like a recommendation.
