Chasing HUGE storms in Alberta!

July 22-24, 2023 saw numerous severe storms across central and northern Alberta, bringing large hail, strong winds, and at least one tornado.

Aww man. The light on that owl at the end of Day One. Gorgeous.
At 6:21 ish there's some interesting anomalies just above the trees at the base of the storm. Looks kind of like heat waves. What were those?
