You know Tweek's on fire when he allows himself to play wario ! No one except gluto pays wario now, he's no longer a good secondary, having so many loosing matchups versus common top tiers, but Tweek loves Wario. Him throwing everything at the window and playing the character he loves is a very good sign !
As a Washingtonian, watching Port in person has always been a treat. But I think one of the coolest moments was getting to see Tweek’s popoff after winning the whole thing. You could feel the emotion and passion running through him and it reverberated throughout the whole venue. Shoutouts to Spair and Clue, always awesome to see the besties pop off
Actually is so insane to see PNW finally get its moment with a tourney like this. Thank you so much for capturing a lot of what made this event magical despite the extremely unfortunate circumstances surrounding the venue.

Shuton. Slushee lost to 1st and 3rd for 33rd place.
He deserves it, i always cheer for him one of my top players to watch always but i need him to perform better with the top top players, (Leo, Spargo, Light, Tea, Glutto, Kola, Acola, Etc) Just like he did back in Summit.
I think he always plays pretty well into Leo, Sparg0 and Gluto, he has only lost to Gluto once, ever. Light and Riddles are problems for him though, Kola too since he plays Roy. Tweek has all the talent, it's his emotional state that determines how well he plays but he seems to get it under control more and more.
Poor Ray being left out lol the zelda main beat snickeldorf, nanoash, opsine, sandfall amd DARK WIZZY, getting 17th (their seed was 97th, i believe for an upset factor 4 or 5), sick video nonetheless
He DQd because he tried to enter a casino in another country without a passport lmfao. Funny how the Japanese players didn't have a hard time with this.
@@dingo9696 because other people from other regions were using the same forms of ID Maister was and being let in without issue. Other players and TO's have corroborated this
@@roosterboots4684 The only people from outside america who got in without passports are canadians, and thats because washington is a border state. It works the exact same way with money. So fun fact, Colorado has 3 players who claim to be the best in the state. Smirk (a Ken main) is our current official number 1, followed then by Chronos (who tends to have the best out of state placements and has been number 1 in the state) and Bang, a Diddy kong player who's online ego is a little too big for his own good and calls himself our best player. He's really good still, typically top 5-10 in the state, just not currently our number 1. The 2 other players who are around our top 5 level, Rydra and Shoe, are also usually in contention for number 1, they tend to just barely not get it. They also travel a decent amount and do fairly well at a lot of tourneys (Rydra I believe got top 8 at crown 2 and shoe usually places within top 64 if not top 32 of most tournaments she flies out to) CO as a whole also has some solid wins on a lot of top players, which is why it's such a shame that we don't get to show off our talent more as we don't host any majors and the closests states that usually have full majors and not regionals are Texas and Nevada. The bigger wins CO has gotten since the post lock-down/post online era are Shadic, MVD, Kola, Riddles, and as of Port Priority 7, Tweek. Hopefully ewe can set up a major here in CO to help CO shine vs OoS talent as I think we are a mad slept on region.
When he's playing on point and running through people he should make his tag thegavinator or Gavinator as he's going terminator mode on the opposition.
imo the 2 players in contention for the title of best American player are Onin and Light. I feel like both of these players have a very strong case and could see it going either way to be honest. Light has attended more events than Onin and over the course of 2022 he's gotten at least one set win against every top player that he's faced more than once besides Spargo. There's really not much to say about Light. He's attended a lot of events and up until LSI he's placed top 4 at every event he attended. He really only struggles against players who are basically top 5 or very close plus Maister. Onin on the other hand has that win at Smash Con which was probably one of the highest peaks we've seen out of any player. The only thing going against Onin is how incomplete his matchup chart looks. He still hasn't faced off against top American players like Dabuz and Tweek, so I can see the argument that he needs a bit more time at the top before he can be called the best American player.
Best players in America? EZ, it's between light tweek and dabuz. Light and tweek are in the heaviest contention, but dabuz is my personal pick because of his consistency, if he just got some wins against leo it would solidify him big time
Dabuz has insane top 2, top 4, and top 8 consistency, sometimes moreso than some of the others, but he’s still never taken a major 1st. It hurts as a Dabuz fan but he can’t be number one in the country until he takes a major
