Hi everyone! I'm heading out of Korea for a month starting this week so I will not be able to post a video next week. I do have something scheduled for next next weekend but just letting you know the video schedule in August will be a little wonky. Have a great time Cari. The weather in the UK this summer has mainly been rain - lots of rain. We have had a few sunny spells but not anything special. Its not cold though so you won't need warm winter coats - maybe just your new rain coat. (I'm in the midlands of England) but it has been mostly the same everywhere although I know Northern Island has had it rough if you are going there.

In Germany there actually is a written rule to not make any loud noises your neighbours could hear after 10 pm. It's common courtesy to talk to the neighbours first, but you can straight up call the police. It's called Nachtruhe, you can translate it as night silence.

Oh no, I get ocular migraines and actual migraines too (so bad lately). Paracetamol and shutting your eyes for half an hour usually works for the ocular ones for me. Also I'm super glad the issue with your neighbour got cleared up in the end, I got anxious for you! I hate confrontation lol safe travels!! Thanks for keeping me company while I'm sick 🙃

Your solution to the noise issue is called wisdom! I used very polite and respectful language in my letter to the noisy neighbor. His response was very polite and respectful as well. No confrontation at all. Later we found that the noise came from someone else. Had I responded emotionally, the dispute would have been escalated to physical or legal one with no reason.
Eye doctors are my favorite people! Had what I thought was an ocular migraine on and off for a few days, so went in to see my eye doc just to be sure it wasn't more serious. Turned out my retina had detached (big oops). Long story short: if it seems weird, always a good idea to have an eye doc confirm, because it might just save your vision!! Anyway, loved the video as always!! ❤

Haven't been on UA-cam for the longest time and just finished watching the 4 most recent videos you posted back to back, lol. Love your content. And the cafes you go to always grab my attention. Then I go into a search frenzy trying to figure out what cafe it is if there are no obvious markers or if you didn't mention the name, like the one with insanely large table. But the ironic thing is I go through the trouble of figuring these things out only to forget about it, even if I make a list. I'll just wing it like I always do on my Korea trips. First trip since covid happening this fall, I'm so excited!! BTW, Your day trips are wonderful points of reference. Random side note: the beige umbrella with the clovers in the one video, I need to have that in my life ^^

Once again a wonderfully entertaining video and not at all chaotic, but exciting. This place with the LP is yes funny. I am still generation records.
When you tell that it has 35 degrees, I suffer the same, because I do not like heat at all and if also has a high humidity, then I "die". July was very hot in Vienna, fortunately we have currently, 6.8.23, a few, cool rainy days, which I really enjoy and use for reading. The door of my balcony is open and I even had to put on long sweatpants because it is really cool today. Since the coffee tastes while watching your wonderful videos and reading even more. Vienna is a city with a very long coffee house culture.
(When I see tourists sitting here in a Starbucks, I want to cry out of pity, because they are surrounded by grandiose coffeehouses in Vienna, but so what).
Your video from Paris I also looked at earlier, well, Paris is already really great.

UK Weather wise, bring a waterproof but you don't need a winter coat. We're have a rainy summer but it's not super cold, nothing a hoodie and waterproof jacket/mac can't handle ❤
Hi Cari! Compared to most people I know, I started flying pretty late (my first time on a plane was when I was 18-19 in 2014) but I was never really scared or worried about it. Fast forward to 2021-2022 when I had two slightly scary take-offs / landings (nothing serious of course, but the process felt scary) and ever since then, I wasn't anxious per se, but flying stopped being so carefree for me.
I took two planes last week to come to the north of Sweden (from Portugal) and it was the most relaxed I had been on a plane in a LONG time all thanks to your flying video - I kept reminding myself that turbulence is normal and that planes are insanely safe, etc, and it kept me really calm! I know at the time you were a little bummed because of the analytics on that video, but I just wanted to share that it really made a difference - as it did for me, I'm sure it did to a lot of other people ☺

I had an ocular migraine for the first time in May and had NO idea what it was at first and literally thought I was going to have to go to the ER. I had two more that same week and did end up going to to doctor just to make sure I wasn't dying even though I otherwise felt fine and had no accompanying headache and it went away within about 20 min. I realized it might have been the new caffeine eye cream I had started using and got rid of it immediately and haven't had another one since then. I'm not 100% sure that was the cause, but I'm 31 and had never had one before using it and haven't had one in the months since. Such a very weird thing to experience!

Your hair is so beautiful, as are your vlogs. I've been getting ocular migraines since my early 20's and I'll be 61 in 2 weeks and I still get them. I've only ever gotten them 4 - 6 times a year, but yes scary at first. I've never really paid attention to triggers. Interesting about the light. I also get migraines (fewer these days now that I'm retired in Mexico) but not at the same time as those. They are supposedly harmless, but take good care of your eyes! Happy your neighbor situation turned out well!

I have ocular migraine, but with headache following along. So if the eye symptoms start, I just have to rush home and lie down in a dark room. It's awful! Thankfully not as often as when I was in my teens/early 20s.
