There won’t because this is where it ends. The manga is in fact unfinished as Ken Ishikawa died before he could resume and finish it, leaving at a cliffhanger. The Anime created it’s own ending that was also still sort of a cliffhanger but that’s how Getter Robo endings are. They’re thematic endings, not narrative endings.

@@stephenbyrne2170 I don't think so cuz Ken Ishikawa died almost 20 years ago already and we've still been getting some new, if sporadic, Getter Robo content since. We'll just not have any continuation of Ken Ishikawa's Getter Saga, assuming Getter Arc wasn't the intended end anyway.
Both accomplish different things, the official one is a tribute to the life of Hayato who has been a staple in the story for longer than anyone else. It was heart wrenching and reminded the audience that Hayato was there since the very beginning and saw it all happen always being left behind and now he can rest and join the comrades and friends he fought so hard with while leaving the world in the hands of the new generation hoping they will be able to carve their own future

I can't think of another manga that looks as raw and untamed as Getter Robo.

This should have happened if Getter arc got a Season 2 but that will probably never happen
