The Outdoorsmans website says that it is actually a 14.7 x 52, so the exit pupil is 3.5. 14.0 x 52 and 15 x 56 both have exit pupils of 3.7. The impression I got was that the new coatings and expanded clear field of view make the 14 x 52 NLs superior to the 15 x 56 SLCs..
I was guiding western hunts in 2001 and bought the 8x50 SLC that year. I also have the 12x42 NL Pure which are technically "far" superior but in real life our SLCs from 2001 remain fantastic and easily better than 90 percent of what's out there today.
I own 12x50 Field pro and 10x42 NL, NL is fantastic, and would like to have 14x NL but price is 20% higher in Taiwan and armor degradation is a issue that I ever replaced my previously owned 10x32 and 8x32 SV
I think the 14X NL’s will replace the 15X SLC in my pack because of the wider field of view of 45 feet, the sleek and lighter weight and better edge to edge clarity. Overall better technology in the 14’s.
I own the 10X42 Pure and they are everything I could want in a binocular. I haven't checked the price of these new 14X52 Pure, but I am sure they are pricey, duh !
@@InCountry6970 I’m in the same boat I own 10x42 NL pures but it’s a lot of money for 4x extra magnification. Especially as there will be some cracking deals on the 15x SLCs floating about now.
Buy once cry once. These are the binos you pass down through your children to your grandchildren. I have lots of glass, and there just is nothing like the swarovski binos. Buy a pair, and you will never look at your buddies and want theirs.
Absolutely 100% true , great comment, like anything in life you get what you pay for , think Ferrari , Snap on , Rolex , speaking as a lifelong professional birder there is NOTHING comes close to my NL and my EL before them , ATX scopes are the best by a mile too, I get to use all the worlds best optics on a daily basis and believe me Leica ( rubbish all made in the cheap in Portugal) and once mighty Zeiss ( now virtually all made even cheaper in china ) are a million miles away from the ergonomics and optical engineering of swaro
Rediculous at this price point the headrest is not included. And the headrest dial turns so easily it never stays in place I’d have thought they’d have improved this by now. Sad. 😂
Binoculars are like cameras the best one is the one you have on you when you need it. Bigger isn’t always better.

看到你的介绍我就买了14x52 谢谢你❤❤❤
Would you recommend 14x52 for handheld plane spotting.
I ordered a pair of these. What adapter do i need to buy for my tripod?
I have a pair of SLC10x50 I bought for a western hunt in 2001. Just how much better is the NL line 10x52 over what I have?
Lots of years of new technology and lens coatings make the new products light years ahead of the 2001 generation

In your opinion is it worth jumping from the SLC’s to the NL 14’s and why.

I have never used 14x binoculars. Can they be used handheld for plane spotting ?
14x is useful for hand held
What's the close focus at on this? Would it also be good for birding?
3.8 meters
10,s would be the mag to go for Tom , the 42,s would be a better all round bet for birding , long days in the saddle 😂
Can you plz compare the 12×42 to the 10×52 for birdwatching for me?
The 10x52 are going to be much more comfortable to handhold
I just ordered mine
You’ll love

$3499
@@JayScottOutdoors Actually, that is not as expensive as I would have guessed. Thanks for the info.

I’ll keep using my bushnells I paid $30 for 40 years ago and glass up more critters than anyone!
Respectfully I doubt it
Bull sh-/t on that stupid statement. Kinds like Biden saying he’s a 6 handicap
😂 Swarovski is 1000 times better than Bushnell. I guarantee that if you look through a pair of Swaros you will be amazed.
Why does this video look (and sound) like it was shot with a police officer’s bodycam?
@@jasonf.4107 shot with a iPhone 👍🏼
@@JayScottOutdoors you are missing my point…
Juste a shitty advertising, nothing more !!

I couldn’t agree more. Quality is paramount when looking for animals on premium hunts!!

The headrest for any NL Pure works with any NL Pure. 👍🏼 I imagine it’s not included because lots of people don’t use it
