My god is he an amazing mixer and artist, but that said, this set would have done better without no much commentary. Some here and there is great to get people hyped, but he talks a little too much. Love the guy and he is a great person to chat with But that's my only criticism with this set. It was a great memory either way.
This set was amazing. Ben Briggs is clearly a master remixer and in total control of this genre. That said, 49:50 somewhat killed the vibe of the previous 50-minutes for me, and, in my opinion, was unnecessary and wholly inappropriate for this crowd. As someone who mostly agrees with his political views, this made me cringe and felt more hostile than I think was intended. I also appreciate that the “Bernie 2020” that was shoehorned in after his set was trimmed from the UA-cam upload (nothing against Bernie). Just wanted to share some honest (hopefully constructive) feedback on what was otherwise a flawless performance and a clinic in modern djing. Looking forward to MagFest 2021.
Honestly it wasn't that bad. He kept it short at least. I dont understand the run down of everything he was talking about but the guy had some things to get off his chest and it was his first show on mainstage in 5 years AND it was the end of Friday Night. Its not like he did it before someone's set. Idk. I remember a bunch of ppl in the crowd got emotional when he cried and it had a different vibe than I expected going in but I liked being surrounded by a mob of positivity for once. It was definitely a strange night haha
@@paweldziurawiec1078 I was one of those people. All I can say is... that's MAGfest. A buncha adults getting emotional and dancing the last year away at 2AM.
Me asking in 2024 for a playlist in this set
16:01 You're welcome.
I think he used sonic music ?

I'm in the same boat. Sad that we won't have a magfest this year :(
