Hi word of advice- pray before reading the Word that the Holy Spirit give you understanding and revelation of what the scripture says . For it is the Holy Spirit that enables us to understand and reveals the meaning of the Scriptures 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Love the bookends of chapter 8 "No condemnnation, no separation" really stuck in my mind. Love this style of preaching! Very relatable and clear, thank you!🎉

Hallelujah,, thank you for this presentation.. i've just read Romans 8 & desire to seek more explanation, then found this video.. it very uplifting . GODBLESS❤ 'No condemnation, no separation ' Glory to God!
I have a question the full verse 1 of 8 after it says no condemnation to those who walk NOT after the flesh but after the spirit. So does that mean that even though we walk after the flesh, though we claim Christ we still have no condemnation?
Hi Alicia, thanks for your thoughtful question. The key to understanding this verse lies in two important points: 1. No Condemnation for Those in Christ Jesus First and foremost, the promise of “no condemnation” is for those who are in Christ Jesus. This refers to anyone who has put their faith in Him for salvation. When we are in Christ, we are no longer under the penalty of sin because Jesus bore that penalty for us on the cross (Romans 8:3). It’s a declaration of our position before God-justified, forgiven, and made righteous because of Christ. 2. Walking After the Flesh vs. Walking After the Spirit The second part of the verse-"who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit"-describes the evidence of this new life in Christ. Walking after the Spirit means living in submission to the Holy Spirit’s guidance, seeking to honor God in our thoughts, actions, and choices. In contrast, walking after the flesh refers to living according to sinful desires, without regard for God. Now to address your specific question: Does “No Condemnation” Apply if Someone Walks After the Flesh? If someone claims Christ but continues to consistently walk after the flesh-living in habitual sin without repentance-it raises serious questions about whether they are truly “in Christ.” While all believers struggle with sin (Romans 7:15-25), there should be evidence of a desire to turn from sin and walk in obedience to God. Paul emphasizes that salvation is not just a matter of saying you belong to Christ but also involves a transformation in how you live. When we truly belong to Him, the Spirit empowers us to grow and overcome sinful habits (Romans 8:12-14). That said, no one achieves perfection in this life. Even when we stumble, as long as we repent and turn back to God, there is still no condemnation because our position in Christ remains secure. God’s grace covers us, and the Holy Spirit continually works to bring us into alignment with His will (Philippians 1:6). In Summary “No condemnation” is a promise for those who are genuinely in Christ, and walking after the Spirit is the natural result of that relationship. If someone is walking after the flesh consistently, it’s a call to examine their faith and ask whether they’ve fully surrendered to Christ. However, for believers who occasionally fall into sin but seek to follow the Spirit, God’s grace and forgiveness remain available. I hope this helps clarify things! Feel free to share any other thoughts or questions you have.

Quick question from anybody who watched this explanation. What is the difference between someone who is a slave to the flesh vs. a person who is in the Spirit but who still sins? What is the difference?
The difference between someone who is a slave to the flesh and a person who is in the Spirit but still sins lies in their fundamental orientation and relationship with God. A slave to the flesh is controlled by sinful desires and consistently lives in opposition to God's will, often without remorse or a desire to change. In contrast, a person who is in the Spirit has a relationship with Jesus and strives to live according to the Holy Spirit's guidance. Although they may still sin, their heart is inclined toward repentance and growth. They feel convicted by the Holy Spirit and seek forgiveness and transformation, relying on God's grace to overcome their shortcomings. This ongoing battle and desire for righteousness differentiate them from those who are slaves to the flesh.
@@TheMinistersCorner This explanation is soooooo good. Put this in a book. EXCELLENT preacher. So, when we feel convicted by our shortcomings, it is actually a GOOD thing that is trying to steer us in the right direction. That is the feeling of the Holy Spirit. We just need to recognize it and use it. Thank you. You really helped me.
No condemnation to those that are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh is what the word say, but after the spirit!!!! You have to finish the whole sentence of the word, the meaning of what the man of God say!!!
That's not true. You do not know how to do good, even though to will, that is the desire to serve the law of God, but there are times i am not able to do that which is good, just and right. You can not justify by saying I knew to do good, but instead, I choose, with my mind, to do evil instead. Resort back to Romams 6 For him to KNOW to do good but does what is evil instead, to him it is sin. Your sin, not just your flesh, that sins.
@TheMinistersCorner 2:48 You said if you know to do good, but you dont do it, then it is no longer you that sins and this is what Paul is teaching, yet that goes against teachings of Scripture. James 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. Paul says if I do that which I HATE, it is no longer him that does it, but it is sin that BRINGS HIM INTO CAPTIVE to the law of sin[Romans 7:23], NOT willing sin. He isn't saying he does what he hates willingly, which takes us to Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. 18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. So, what you are teaching, whether you mean to or not, is that, for example, if you would hate to cheat on your wife but you do it anyway, that it is not you, but that is not what Paul would ever teach. Yet we are not in the flesh but in the spirit if the spirit is in us. Therefore, we do not wilfully give into sin. Having the ability to bear any temptation in the Spirit of righteousness and truth. Children of the Spirit, those walking after the Spirit, will mortify the deed of the flesh[romams 8:13], fornication the example, means that he would deny the lust of his flesh and would rather not let the love for his wife fail. Me, what I hate is when a woman, with a nice body, comes by me and my eyes are drawn to her, I hate this, but it is not me that is drawn to her, with my mind and desire to obey the law of God, but is sin that dwells in me, that is in my flesh, that does it. This brings me to John, 1 John 3:9 that says, 1 John 3:9-10 King James Version 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10 In this, the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
