@@mckenziegraves2706 an egg can definitely splatter when cooking it. If she didn’t do her dishes or wipe the counter afterwards I can definitely see that, especially if it’s a kitchen that isn’t usually *cooked* in.

My best friend had a baby and little support from her husband. She called me at 4am sobbing cause she was so tired. I (single mom at the time and my daughter was at her dad’s house) immediately got up and drove an hour to the town she was in and took care of her baby so she could sleep. She didn’t need things, she needed the peace of mind that someone she trusts has her baby so she could rest. Best thing you can do for new parents in my opinion if they are comfortable with that help.

I thought that too! I also thought the wedding party wasn’t expected to give gifts either since they spend a lot on their outfits/ bachelorette and bachelor parties. I’m not entirely sure though, I haven’t been to many weddings 😅

Love how You Can Sit With Us had a whole episode just about the wedding and you managed to fit both the wedding and the fatherhood into like a third of this and talked about eggs and crazy frog the rest of the time.

idk why but as someone who has been a big fan of miles for a while now, him saying how he has started to become more emotional since having his son made me actually tear up because I remember Miles saying a while ago about how he never really properly cries and idk maybe its because I feel so proud and happy for him but I just think its the sweetest thing

As a parent, I applaud Miles for his recommendation of what to do for a friend with a newborn. Nothing is better than a friend holding your child so you can take a 10min shower! ❤

Miles the best thing you can do is understand your kid’s development so that when they’re doing x, y, and x you aren’t beating your head against the wall wondering wtf you did wrong. You just acknowledge that that is where they are developmentally right now, accept it, and support them as best as you can. And that continues into teen years and young adulthood. I try not to research parenting methods and instead I research childhood development so that I can apply my own experience with what I know is going on in my kids’ brains 🖤
Been a concert junkie all my life and never once thought about the genius that is a concert wedding. Thanks Zach!! Actually excited for a wedding someday ☺️

The advice segment is so much better than the Rainie Day Thoughts segment. I don't know why, honestly. I just like it better. I think it might be the fact that it is a straightforward thing instead of a bunch of random thoughts. I get that's the point, but the advice is typically so much more concise instead of talking forever when they're supposed to be ending the pod.

@@deannarid Especially if she's also taking care of the baby while recovering. Mothers should REALLY be resting after giving birth, especially if they had a C section. That is MAJOR surgery!

This has been the hardest year of my life, I haven’t had teeth in years or been able to eat properly, since the start of my journey you guys ( the try guys ) have been there for me to watch and laugh with to have a better day. Thank you for what you do, lots of love from Vancouver Canada ❤

I actually asked the jeweler doing my wedding ring if we could do a finger print on it, and he advised against it because there's no enough space, and to do a detailed fingerprint requires soft enough metal that will warp anyway with use. Very thankful to him for helping me adjust the design based on my needs, and ours turned out lovely! Artisan LA Jewelry, highly recommend them if you're in LA.

This gave me a very much needed giggle after I took myself out to a whole market food date after work before my counseling session. I am snacking on what I purchased and waiting to go in while I watch some of this, and I very much appreciate the serotonin levels that are slowly rising after the past week that I have had at work which has been very trying.

Can concur - weddings that are concerts are the best. My partner was a touring musician when we got married, so we got married in a music venue & our reception was a show featuring our fav bands that were able to be in town. One of the best nights ever.

I loved this episode. I'm Rainey's age but I have 2 children so at some point I relate to all of you. Love having someone with a baby on, my newest babe is just a few weeks older than Miles'.
