Nice speaking voice, easy on the ear😊 Have you made any Dutch friends..I live in England and have a few English acquaintances but they are not easy to befriend. Find them inconsistent.

    Hi Neo.
I have few questions for my daughter.
    1. What agency did you use?
    2. Was a driver's license one of the requirements for your service?
That will be it for now.
    We appreciate your vlogs

      Hi Mathipa Chepape,
I used OVC and no, a driver’s license was not a necessity because most au pairs use bicycles here.

Hi Zandile Masinga😃, well first of all 😅 coming here is pretty affordable hey. But I fell in love with the fact that its a healthy and happy country😊. The whole cycling lifestyle is crazy but amazing.
I had the USA fever back in 2016 but over the years I got attracted to Europe’s chill vibe.

@@zandilemasinga9376 Knowing Afrikaans really helped me because I’ve been here a little over three months and already understand and try to make full sentences on my own. It’s challenging yes, especially when the kids only speak Dutch. But the kids books and cartoons helped me learn quickly.

Hi, I hope you’re doing well. I would love to know if a certain amount of experience in babysitting or being an au pair is required?

    • @neompetemarufu
      @neompetemarufu  2 роки тому +1

      Hey love,
You only need baby sitting experience. If you’ve done tutoring, helping kids with homework, looking after relatives or siblings etc. it all counts as babysitting experience.

@@neompetemarufu thank you for replying love. Well I’ve been taking care of my niece and nephew since I was a teenager, I’m 21 now and I’ve also been taking care of my 3 years old nephew for the past 4 months but only on weekends. I think adding a little bit of experience with non-relatives would be great.

Can you please share what you're gained by doing so?

I enjoyed every minute of it, though there were weird🥴 moments I still feel I grew and gained so much knowledge from my stay there.

      Hi Uyazidube97 Dube, thank you☺️.
I used OVC partnering with HBN in the Netherlands. If you’d like to know more about the au pair process check out my Instagram page. I did a series on au pairing: questionanswer_ask
The matching process took two/three months.
