ABB 1) was not confident about negative. Thought of positive because the person moves forward and friction on the person acts in the same direction 2) didn't think about varrying magnetic field, thought about force due to moving charges and magnetic force only 3) couldn't think about a case satisfying it
I did BBB, if a magnet is said to be moving then it might make a charged particle from rest to motion, but it was not given, that's why I took B In the third Q, if it slips then it can do work, so I think this will also have the answer as insufficient data or the work may or may not happen

1) misconception, i thought that as the entire body is moving forward, so the displacement must taken of the body, but i forgot to apply that displacement must be taken of point onto which the force is applied. 2) i did think of the magnet, and that it could produce varying magnetic fields, when there is relative motion between charge and the magent.. but i didnt think the right ans, as no condition was given on whether the magent is free to move or is fixed.. i assumed a normal magentic field. 3) i thought of a case when a particle is moving along x axis, then wrt y axis and z axis, the particle is at rest, so any force in that direction, will not do any work, a typical case of circular motion( i dont know if the thought process is right for this que)
it is moving in straight line not circular and 2nd thing work done depends on reference fram if you will calculate work from different frames answer will be different so be on ground frame 3rd why it will on rest with respect to y and z axis? axis velocities is already 0 so there is no subtraction in velcoity of x axis i will move with its original velcoity only

Also, they said to find a case where this could happen.. so circular motion is the best, as it is a two 1D motions combined, so analysed in perpendicular vector of the initial velocity, I can say that this force is not doing work.. also, I am observing wrt ground.. Edit: in the question they are asking only the energy contributed by the external forces(In my case the centripetal).. they didn't ask the total energy of the particle during the motion.. they asked only the work done by the external force

Sir, please correct me if I am wrong but I think in third case, work done by friction, no doubt is zero but, the accelerating force on the body is muscular force, which is equal in magnitude to friction force, friction itself isn't accelerating the body. The reason I say this is because, if the boy doesn't put another leg forward then he can't move forward. And if a force is accelerating, then it must change the body's velocity and therefore by WE theorem, do work. I might be wrong here, but couldn't see how...

Sir in the first question the mistake I did was I thought that friction can do positive work also but didn't carefully thought about ground. In the second question I couldn't think of the situation where the magnet could be moving In the third question I thought only of an externally applied force but didn't analyse it from the fundamentals.

CAA In question 1 I thought ground can be inclined also But sir in 2nd question I just used 6th class mentallity that if I put iron near a magnet it will get attracted to it and hence will do motion In 3rd question I thought of simple harmonic motion as force will be applied but it will again come back to same place so no work done

Ans BBB 2) magnetic force q(v×B) can not change the velocity of a charge particle and does not act on a charge at rest. 3) if a particle is acclerated by a force in a straight line workdone by the force can not be zero. It is possible in circular motion.
BBB 2. didnt think about the motion of magnet. i just used f=qvbsin(a). 3. Instead of thinking about the friction case i was taking very general cases.. i got to understand that the work done depends upon the motion of the point of contact not the motion of the whole body(correct me if I am wrong)

SIR, I AM IN CLASS 11TH AND I TRIED ALL QUESTION AND GOT 2 CORRECT OUT OF 3 AND IN 1ST QUESTION I THOUGHT ABOUT NEGATIVE WORKDONE BUT, IN DECIDING ZERO AND POSITIVE I WAS BIT CONFUSED SO, I MARKED POSITIVE BY APPLYING SOME NORMAL FORCE LOGIC WHICH IS WRONG BUT, AFTER SEEING WHAT U THOUGHT GOT A NEW CLARITY THAT THIS CAN HAPPEN TOO THANKS A TON SIR LEARN SOMETHING NEW. IT WAS REALLY A GOOD BRAIN TRAINING WILL FOCUS ON TOO IMPROVE MY FUNDAMENTALS MORE AND GET THEM STRONG. GOD BLESS U SIR. BTW, NO TUKKA WAS DONE :) AT ALL.

3rd question me thoda alag way se socha jaise ki agar force aur displacement perpendicular ho Jaye toh, tab bhi kuch work done nahi hoga.
Sir in the first question the mistake I did was I thought that friction can do positive work also but didn't carefully thought about ground.
In the second question I couldn't think of the situation where the magnet could be moving
In the third question I thought only of an externally applied force but didn't analyse it from the fundamentals.
Sir at first I write BAA but then I had some confusion mujhe laga ki koyi esa case bhi ho sakta hai jahan par friction positive ho jaye then I write CAA but my first thinking was correct .... Iss question se meine ye sikha ki questions ko carefully read karna hai aur apne concepts ke upar believe rakhna hai

I marked ABB, but now my concepts are clear...
Misconception : I considered the displacement of the whole body instead of disp of point of application of force..
I considered magnetic field instead of a magnet which can produce TVMF when in motion..
I considered linear motion of a body and thought that force acting along line of motion of body will always do work...
In first question why we are not taking the case that the boy may be moving backwards?
I chose AAA. I could not analyze the first one.

1) coulnt imagine the situation properly . remembred some glimpses of random points my teacher told in class and remebred work=0 case and have less conceptual clairty on the wrok concept
2) remebred some things but thought ki magentic field would somehow move the particle accidntally correct
3) last case thought of newtons postulate which was comletely wrong couldnt read and analyse the question proeprly in 1 min ( i put timer ) and fear came twice ki less time left less time left had to supress it
edit : im in 11th right now phyics not good very much backlog some things i know but lot of improvment must be done

I did AAA b'coz in first question i take friction as positive or zero in first question I think that the friction will oppose the motion of boy and work done by friction will comes out to be positive. sorry 😔 sir but now this concept is clear to me and try to never make this mistake again.

But sir in 2nd question I just used 6th class mentallity that if I put iron near a magnet it will get attracted to it and hence will do motion
In 3rd question I thought of simple harmonic motion as force will be applied but it will again come back to same place so no work done

Im getting around 160-170 marks in Jan attempt, and I was alr studying 4 adv b4 Jan (lost track in last few chps+ dint do d deleted ioc part)
I'll 1st fix dat n be thorough w/ ncert (cuz board). Then adv level problems 4 selected chps (basically full 12th n thermo,ioc,oc n coord from 11th cuz dats my strong part lol)
I have worked a lot since dec 2022 man, ain't gonna fail now

I made mistakes in first one due to not thinking about it carefully

BAA LAST question mai mistake ho gayi conceptual mistake ..
Ans BBB 2) magnetic force q(v×B) can not change the velocity of a charge particle and does not act on a charge at rest. 3) if a particle is acclerated by a force in a straight line workdone by the force can not be zero. It is possible in circular motion.

3. Instead of thinking about the friction case i was taking very general cases..
i got to understand that the work done depends upon the motion of the point of contact not the motion of the whole body(correct me if I am wrong)
