- The Biebrza National Park located in north-eastern Poland is Europe's major natural expanse of peat bogs and aquatic bird habitat. Over 20 years ago the hero of the film, Krzysztof Kawęczyński, gave up his urban life and settled down in a tiny colony of the Budy village. His propriety lies within the boundaries of the park and he lives there a quiet life close to the nature. Always hospitable to visitors received a nickname of the King of Biebrza.

I loved the style of this, felt pretty much like I was watching things unfold. He was quite a character, it was nice to watch and it felt quite familiar, as we often go to Poland.

It can heal or kill ... depending on the amount... most that its naive art - usualy folk art created by uneducated artists... valuable and unique

The filming style is so good in this. I like the narration in the video, king of biebrza! How was the drink? And how did you find that guy?
When you travel you meet people. Some of them are unique. And the drink? It was strong! 70% alcohol content. But I drank only a sip. And its taste? Excellend. This was a "moonlight" liquor.
Looks like an interesting character,the King of Biebrza. I like how he doesn't drink but except for the "healing effect". lol. Does he make that liquor himself? Is it vodka or something else?
