The pipes with a diameter between 340mm - 900mm are simply placed on the ground and are then picked up by the machine’s front boom.
Thanks to the pull-in device situated in front of the cabin, the operator can perfectly align and prepare the pipe for butt welding. This process takes experienced operators only two minutes. After that the pipe is ready for welding within the air-conditioned operator’s cabin.
The machine is also equipped with a compressor that powers the cooling. The included cooling rings are connected to the butt welding machine and drastically reduce the cooling time of the welded pipes.
In general, the VFT900 reduces the entire time effort by at least 60%!
The machine comes with a remote maintenance software that enables us anytime to optimize the hydraulic system and machine control (internet connection necessary)
