Jesus had a moment by moment communion with His Father. But He still spent private hours in prayers alone with God. We can and must do the same as much as we can of course by His grace.

Thank you so much for this teaching. I have felt my prayers to our Lord were done wrong because I chatter with Him all through the day. But my church group emphasized saying group grace in a restaurant even though I was very uncomfortable, I took part. I left that church eventually but couldn’t shake my guilty conscience at my amateur prayer, style. I thought I had to use the thous and therefores and interject the name of Jesus often and repetitiously. When I started more “disciplined religious “ praying it just seemed wrong and as well, God stopped chattering back! I missed His input! I have in the past had many two-way conversations with Him. Thank you for clarifying God does want relationship on a personal level. I will immediately go back to my chatter. 👍

The God Who made the mountains and oceans is with you. The Creator of the sunset desires a real relationship with you. Think about that for awhile - not only are you not alone, but you have the God of the universe by your side! In any difficult moment, you can be confident knowing God is with you, He is for you, and He wants what is best for you.
Spend time talking to God about your loneliness. Nothing is too big or small to bring to Him in prayer. Take time to be in His presence and feel His peace and comfort.
God is big enough to care about the big issues in our lives. Even more, He is also big enough to care about every small problem in our lives as well. Whether loneliness is a big or a little part of your life, God wants to carry that burden for you.
Not only that, but He knows how you feel.

Receive healing right now. God wants you healed. By His stripes you were already healed. Just believe and you shall manifest. I was also almost paralysed but God made me whole just by believing in His word. May The same healing Grace also manifest in you too. Ameen

Today i learned people praying for like an hour etc (new believer alert! :) ) and i prayed the Lord to give me the same Spirit to do so. I always spend my day with the Lord, talking to Him thinking of Him. But i thought i am short on faith because i just pray may be 5 min.s a day. This 2 video really helped me to understand so much things. And was an precious answer to prayer i believe. God bless you!

I love the introduction music of this program. Of course the truths being preached are far more valuable, but the introduction music sure helps to focus my senses on the program right away. That and the words on the fire place mantle, "Tell the kids I love them - God", simply classic. Love you brother for making that the motto of your ministry. God love changed my life. Praised be Jesus! God looks into hour hearts. He doesn't look at prayers we use to pray. You can use repetitive words to pray. There is an example in the Bible when the peson repeats the same words to pray! “Jesus of Nazareth is passing by,” they told him. So he called out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Those who led the way admonished him to be silent, but he cried out all the louder, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”…Luke 18:38
The most important thing if you really mean what you are saying when praying to God!

Yes I agree that Jesus never spent alot of time while praying before people. But that does not mean that He didn't spend alot of time praying. And there are more than the two instances that pastor Andrew stated. Other occasions that have been recorded includes before His crucifixion three times he woke his disciples to pray at least an hour each. That means he probably prayed for almost 3hrs. On other occasions he left the multitude to go and pray for instance before he walked on water he had spent time alone in prayer. During the transfiguration he was praying before his disciples woke up. And in Mark 1:35
Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed. And that was His custom.
In Luke 22:39
Says Jesus went to the Mount of Olives as it was His custom and there He prayed. So Jesus had a routine. So let's not get it twisted. It's okay to pray short prayers before men coz as long as you have spent some quality alone time with God then the other issues does not require alot of effort. Let's be like the bereans and learn how to rightly divide the word of truth else we may cause other believers to become prayerless.

There's a difference between the "Preacher" and the
" Teacher".
It's the "Preacher" gift that's been mimicked and almost mocked.
People try to make everyone a "Preacher".

If one prays for a situation and it doesn't change, should you pray about it, or for it again and again at different times?
:) Hello, Spinx! God bless you! If the situation does not line up with the redemption of the cross, you command the situation to change, you don't pray about it at all. So, if the situation is sickness in your body, you speak to it and command it to leave. If the situation is something you don't like for some reason, then why would you want it to change? Who are we? Are we the same yesterday, today, and forever, and everything around us needs to change and conform to us? Or are we children of God, having the privilege and opportunity to change and grow in every situation?

To sum it all up, if it is the will of God for the situation to change, we continue praying. If it's not the will of the Lord for the situation to change, we don't even start to pray. We need to know what the will of Jesus is. We need to know his heart. We need to get intimate friends with Him, so close that we can finish each others sentences. God starts to say something and I'll finish His sentence. I start to say something and God will finish my sentence. :) Love you!
@@yllatusmuna my son is in serious need of help. And the weird thing is, he is Christian and loves the Lord but he has an addiction and can't break it. We don't know how to address this ... prayer? From the advice above, you say no - we must command it to go which is what we are and have been doing for a long time.

In your mind you think you are mumbling the samw words but actually it's not. Your Spirit prays according to the Will of God when you speak in tongues. I like to pray in tongues than with my understanding
