Thank you so much sir I was really confused with this potato osmosis topic . That is a question in NCERT book but I was not able to understand it . Your explanation is a really very clear .
Very creative experiment ! I will also make this with an unpelled potato to try to demonstrate the importance of epidermis is preserving plant tissues from dessication ! Thank you for sharing your knowledge !
So, I left potatoes in a bowl of water for a few days and forgot about them. When I rediscovered them, the water was all gooey and disgusting, and only the skins were left. Why did that happen, and what's the gooey semi-liquid?
so soaking potatoes in salt water will draw the water out from the potato? I was thinking, and this is strictly for cooking purpose, is there a way we can take up brine solution/ spice water in the potato so the inside gets spiced and salty?
I don't understand why water wasn't collected in the raw potato that had nothing in it. and how is the potato filled with salt is at a low concentration while the empty one is also at low concentration.
that third potato shows that ,solute concentration inside must be lower so as to drain water from cells , that is from higher concentration to lower concentration
I was supposed to do this but i forgot and it’s due in half an hour so thx
Bruh same literally
LEGIT MEEE
ITS DUE AT 8AM LMFAO
mine due today hahaha
WTH SAME. I THOUGHT WE WERE SUPPOSED TO SEARCH ABOUT OSMOSIS AND WAS ABOUT TO PASS IT BUT THEN BOOM, I NEED TO DO THE EXPERIMENT

lol hahahaha
Super Vegito shut the fuck up
⚰️
Lol
Why what happened
Does the water added in the bowl, warm or room temp.?
Thank you in advance!!
its room temperature
This is a great demonstration to help explain salinity in plants.

I have a science quiz tomorrow this really helped!! (It's on cell structure of the plant's and animals) Anyways thanks!!
Thank you sir

How much time should we wait for the result?........
Legends are watching it after 7 years

The way of explanation is really nice
thanks bro that helped me to answer my biology lab too
Thanks so much you saved my life . I took all screenshot from ur video and pasted them in my project😂. Thanks bro
but what about raisins they still take up water when kept in a hypotonic solution
Thanks so much this just helped me with my science sba
Santrice Jarrett which school do you attend? and which country?
Kenson Small y’all go to school in the Caribbean?
Thanks for the experiment this was very informative
Nicely done
Why do you have to peel the potatoes?
For how much time we habe to keep the potatoes in the water ???
Very Helpfull!
Is the potato acts as control set up to compare the results with the other three potatoes
Thank you so much sir ❤
I don't understand why water wasn't collected in the raw potato that had nothing in it. and how is the potato filled with salt is at a low concentration while the empty one is also at low concentration.
How long does it take to get the cooked potatoes
What if we placed one of the potato cups in salt solution and the other in water without adding anything to the inside. What will happen then?
Thanks a lot bro for the videos now I'm going to become a scientific man!
Why the third potato
why was the 3rd potato necessary..??????
guess its for tonisity,
Its to act as a control for the whole set-up (if you understand what I mean). This is the best answer I've got
that third potato shows that ,solute concentration inside must be lower so as to drain water from cells , that is from higher concentration to lower concentration
because it is to show the difference
it is kept for to compare the differences in the three potatoes
thank you for your explaination
Nice and helpful with clear explanations
Why you are keeping the 3rd potato
Thanks for your experiment I able to understand osmosis clearly thank u so much sir
How much time does it take
Thanks sir understand perfectly
Thank you so much!
Actually does plants under go this osmosis process Sir
YES. That's the main point of showing the experiment
Can you provide with the whole experiment in written
Great one really nice👌👌👌
how long it took watet to go inside raw potato?
Why does this guy sound like he's gonna say open bob

Outstanding and very useful
How long do I need to cook the one potato?????
thanks!
Da avanana chief
Super experiment
Helped a lot
how long did it took for the salt to be dissolved?
take 6or 7 hour
sir what is osmotic pressure?
I have to do this in science exibition tomorrow thanks this helped me alot
The salt looks pink but very nice experiment
how long u have to wait
ok. how all done
I was supposed to do this but i forgot and instead played games
