But like Hargoyle I made friends from the survivors of Bullies war paths. I'm also a devoted friend. We were born different and persecuted for it, but by bullying made friends, and to our lives are made amends. Candy Claws and, I suspect, Drew are images everyone needs to remember, that Voltaire's the king of macabre but also a lovable heart this December. Should anyone say "This story is dumb and meaningless." then l hope they get a visit from Candy Claws and their candy will be less. I've been a fan for quite some time and wish you good fortune. From AQW to your own enterprises, this is a fan saying never mind alot of advances by trolls towards ending your masses. Because both Hargoyle and I know they try to hurt. And I hope that things for you continues to work. Okay I think I've rambled long enough. Just wanted to say I love your work. I am someone who didn't start making friends until later in life. I was bullied in junior high because I was quiet and wouldn't fight back, not to mention I wasn't into anything other kids liked to do. I didn't make my first friends that were on my wavelength until sophomore year of high school, i.e. when they finally caught up with me in terms of maturity and mutual interests. As a future children's librarian, I am always on the lookout for unconventional and meaningful stories that can be enjoyed by both children and adults. As a certified lover of the strange and unusual ("Because I myself am strange and unusual." - Winona Ryder as Lydia, Beetlejuice), the text tickled my English lit and scary story itches quite well. Needless to say, I now have a new story to recommend, both as an anti-bullying parable and as a holiday tale in the tradition of the Grimm brothers that delivers treats to those most deserving and justice to those who take advantage of others for being small, weak, or just different.
Awwwwwwww... fuzzy little Hargoyle gave me the hugest smile! Artwork and rhyming are perfect too. I'm gonna add this to my resources to use with my little kiddies in outpatient therapy.

I love this! I'm gonna buy it for my little sister, because it's something that I needed in my childhood that would have helped me in times of bullying. I don't think she's been bullied but she's only in kindergarten and sadly, it seems like it's impossible to get through school avoiding it completely. What a awesomely gruesome book I read. I know how Hargoyle felt just like me in elementary, because I am weird and different. I will always be a outcast and get bullied alot that I keep it hidden for long until high school I felt welcome and friends to support me on my talent and not bullying me for been different and weird that will make people have nice day and teachers using my ideas for class or bring a smile to them
