War of the Worlds Tripod Takes a Swim at Sea Isle City NJ

I was walking along the beach at Sea Isle City, NJ on May 18, 2024, when I saw this. I immediately thought of H.G.Wells War of the Worlds. Grovers Mill, New Jersey was the landing site of the Martians. So I thought even those Martians need some relaxation! They spent some time at the beach...

Looks like he got out there and was afraid to turn around so he backed out. It's like, "oh, you tipped over? That's ok, we'll just send another tripod out to pick you up."
