The efforts really paying off Rob. She looks beautiful, with neat personal touches and mods here and there.
You know you're dreading a job when you starting singing about it 😂

Often wondered how on earth Lambretta's were shuttled quickly down the factory production line, considering how very fiddly nearly every stage of assemby is as shown by Rob, fitting the legshields, adding the floor runners, gaskets between hornn casting/mudguard and legshields, getting the"gap" right, etc, etc....Having owned and rebuilt more than 20 Lambrettas over the years - all models from 1959, I know how very tricky most jobs are.......but a great sense of satisfaction when completed.

Clear coat the decal Rob, that will protect it! The best way is to get some water based clear from a hobby shop. Im not sure if the cans they sell (like Tamiya) are water based... If not you'll need an airbrush. Or maybe a typical clear coat from a rattle can. I'd try the Tamiya first.

Love the Pin-up, how about an opaque clear applied in a lace shaped pattern several hotrods adding this to their trimming. Great Content.

Any suggestions for finding the foam/spongy black material you use to stop legshield from rubbing against frame at minute 2:50? Does somebody make this or is it a DIY mod? Is it same material MB uses for the padding on the rear brake pedal?...Thumbs up for the new videos!

It's just rubber matting I cut to size. 3mm thick.

Hi Rob did you buy your flywheel cover or did you convert it your self and do you get better cooling by doing so thanks for the video 👍

It's a casa case flywheel cover. Same as what's on a casa cooler.
